guy that got a got a great testimony, [F] a great story.

He's got a bunch of stuff that he's written.
He was a
professional country and western singer back in the 50s and early 60s.
He was on tour.

[Fm] lot of bigger stars [F] but he was just like in May of his [Db] tour for that year [F] I think it was
maybe 62, 63 somewhere along there.
He was up northeast New Jersey maybe and he got in
thinking one night or one day that _ _ he was being pretty successful _ [Bb]
but [D] just something
wasn't right [F] and _ [C] he called up his agent and he said cancel the rest of the tour.
He said
I'm going [Db] home so he went back home.
[C] Quit singing on the road, went back [F] home.
He wanted to be with
his family and he wanted to be in church and he then over the next little while became an
ordained minister and he's now living the [Bb] last time I saw him there he's in [E] Alabama _ [F]
but he's
written a lot of a lot of songs and this is one of them and I hope y'all enjoy this one and this
will tell you a little bit about how some of the [B] churches are but [Dm] then another one more time let
