We're here at Bath Comedy with Eric Johnson and he's going to show us through his rig.
So thanks for the time.
Let's go
Hey, I'm glad to be here.
Yeah.
Well, I just see I'm using one of my
EJ signature Fender guitars and I use a
3 amp system as you can see over here
It's a sound one is the stereo twins sound two is the top Marshall cabinet
Which is operated by that Marshall in the back and sound three is the top Marshall head going through the bottom cabinet
I never use all three sounds same time.
It's just one of the three
So I'll just show you what I do here through a series of a V boxes.
I have the clean sound with the stereo [B] twins
[Gb] [G] And the choice of either having the stereo course on or not
[A]
When I went extra wetness, I'll put on this [Db] deluxe memory man
[E]
[Bm] [A] And then I [Am] switch to another sound which is [G] the the top Marshall cab.
That's the dirty rhythm sound.
[E] [B] I
Have two [G] choices of fuzzes with that.
I have either the tube screamer, which is right there, which is on
[Eb]
[Abm] Or if I want a little bit [G] more fuzz I can I can put the fuzz face on
[Abm] And [G] then the third and final sound which is the bottom Marshall cabinets for like just more of the smooth lead tone
And then I [G] switch over to that and that's the hundred watt Marshall that's on top of the cabinet.
That's more of this time
[Ab] [Eb] [Bb] And I [G] don't really have much I just have like a tube driver on that
So I have a choice of you to have the tube driver off for a while and then I have a wah-wah for [C] it
I want to
[Bbm] [D] It's pretty [G] much it for the whole deal and that's kind of what's all going on back in the back you can just see that
Over the back of it saying you can see the tube driver on the shelf
That's what I use for the bottom cabinet and then above that is just a single rack space in XR digital delay
Which I use on that Marshall up there, which he's talking
And then the final thing is just that echo collects way down on the bottom, which is a piece of prehistoric history
And
That goes into the bottom Marshall cabinet for the lead tone, and that's pretty much the whole deal except for the viola and the
Running that through the PA and sawing it with a cello.
That's the only other thing and who said we couldn't do that in 10
