And another amazing opportunity I was given by your country was to perform in the [F] Vatican
some years ago for Pope John Paul [D#] II.
I had a chance to perform the song that I'm going to sing now, which is originally a Christian
Catholic prayer, but I wrote new lyrics to it.
Gil and I created a song which was actually a personal prayer for peace.
There's a great deal of open-mindedness in inviting [B] me, us, as Jewish Israelis to perform
in the Vatican with this really universal prayer for peace.
For me, that is also a sign of great hope, because I do believe that only the breaking
of [D#]
barriers between religions can bring this world to a better place.
And it is [N] possible.
It's just a matter of choice, really.
So with this song, I would like to leave you, wish you a happy holiday, whatever holiday you celebrate.
Hope that the spirit of goodness, sincerity, and generosity will be always in your hearts.
