What's up?
Welcome.
Today we're gonna be listening to a new track from Aviana.
This one's called Anomaly.
This is yet another single for the upcoming album Corporation.
This is gonna be out on the 3rd of August this year, which is by far one of my most
exciting releases of the summer.
I've been on this Aviana bandwagon basically ever since I've heard the song Oblivion and
singles are just tasty, juicy, thick.
My favorite single is either Rage or Oblivion, but honestly, every one of them has their
own little thing it brings to the table, which I really actually respect about it.
No two singles sound the same, if that makes sense.
They always kind of try to do something a bit different.
It's really awesome, just the whole story of this band and how it kind [B] of resurrected
from what would have been the end of it, thanks to the current vocalist Joel, who is an inspiration
and also an incredible, incredible performer.
So, without further ado, let's just dive straight into Anomaly by Aviana and see where this
new single takes us, shall we?
Synthwave.
[D] Okay.
[Bm]
What did I say?
Every single single has something different that it brings to the table.
This is insane.
[G] Very different.
[Bm]
[G] Who are these mysterious [B] people?
[F#] [Bm]
[Bm]
[Em]
Okay.
Okay.
[B]
[Bm] [B] [Bm]
Jesus.
The atmosphere [G] in this. Jesus.
[F#]
[B]
[Bm] Wow.
[B] [Bm]
[Em] [G] [B]
[Bm] [E]
[G] Chills, chills, chills, [Em] chills, chills.
[C#] [Bm]
[C#] This album is going to be [Em] incredible.
[G] So different, and [G] yet it works so [F#] well.
Wow.
[Bm]
[B] Come on.
[F#] [B]
[Bm]
[Em] [G] This is actually just unbelievable.
I am struggling to find words to describe what I'm hearing right now.
This is actually like, holy shit, it's mesmerizing.
[F#] [Bm]
[D] I love [G] the sound.
[Em]
[B] [Bm]
What's up?
Give it to me.
[F#] Bless me, pray.
Bless me, little child.
[G] And the flower.
It's all about how you do it.
It's all about how you [Em] drop us.
This is fantastic so far.
Please.
[E] [C#]
[G]
[Bm] Oh.
Oh.
[B] [Bm] Jesus, okay.
Hit [G] that shit, come on.
[B] [C#]
[F#]
[G] Oh my God.
[F#m] Okay.
[G] Listen.
[Bm] Listen.
[E] This is just, [F#] this is just [D] illegal, man.
[G] No.
[Bm] Absolutely.
What?
What?
Aviana.
Anomaly.
Wow.
This is going to be one of those reactions.
It depends on how you see it.
I'm either just being extremely happy with the song that I just heard.
Or I'm completely fanboying over the band.
Which both is the case, let's be honest.
I'm both really happy with the song.
And I'm [G#m] also a huge fanboy.
It's perfect that I said what I said before the reaction.
Every single is so different.
So vastly different in sound.
No two singles sound the same.
This is that kind of brought to extreme.
Because this is like a weird kind of synth wave rock song.
You know, Joel really shows his more mid-range vocals.
Which sound fantastic with all those spatial effects.
And then he actually breaks out into a breakdown.
Which is multi-layered.
Which is what I really love about different layers of vocals.
There's a bit of singing further into the breakdown.
In the back that makes it so spacious and big.
And I was worried.
I was really worried about the breakdown part.
Because the song itself is so chill.
It's intense but not in the same way you kind of perceive intense in metalcore music.
It's more intense in the constant groove of the synths in the back.
Very big drives.
I was really worried that the breakdown they were going to put into this.
Was going to be just over the top heavy.
Not fitting the song.
Or the opposite.
It would be not hard hitting enough.
But I feel like they've hit that really nice sweet spot.
Where they actually managed to squeeze in some screams.
Without it being too pretentious and forced.
This was just perfect man.
I love Avianna man. I love.
I absolutely love Avianna.
Let me know in the comments if I should do a cover of this.
I feel like I can definitely.
I can 100% pull off the vocals.
Because they're not super high in this one.
I would love to cover this vocally.
I would absolutely love to.
I haven't had vocal covers in a while on the channel.
So I think that would be a nice addition.
Let me know in the comments.
I'm gonna wait for some people to actually want it.
Before I do it.
This just makes me more and more stoked for Corporation.
That's gonna be out August 3rd 2022.
Okay.
Well, I mean, let me know what you think about this one.
I would love to hear your opinions.
I would love to hear whether you're just as stoked as I am about this.
