Start Jamming...
Hey guys, it's Mr.
Sad Boy here.
Today, this is one of my last ever times I'm going to be filming in Paris.
And it's very, very upsetting.
But yeah, otherwise today we have a new comeback by OneWe.
This is the first time I've ever actually been doing a reaction to them.
I've done the stuff for OneUs, but I've never done one for OneWe.
Apologies, I missed the one that they did in May, which was sort of like their re-debut.
I haven't heard of a group doing that before, so that was a first.
I have since checked out the song though.
Really, really enjoyable, like the rest of the project.
Anyway, yeah, this is Regulus, like Regulus blank.
F***ing hell.
Yeah, so let's get into it.
[G#m] Allons-y!
[E]
Yeah.
Oh, I'm not in frame.
[B] [F#]
[G#m] [E]
Slightly [F#] reverbed guitar.
[G#m] Nice [B] forefront vocal delivery.
Got a slight sort of bass boost to it.
That was [E] really full.
[B] [F#]
[C#] [E] Ooh.
[G#m] [B] Yes!
Nice [F#] vocal [C#] effects.
[E] What's it, [C#m] double layering?
[B] [D#m]
[G#m] [E] Really fun melody.
[B] [F#]
[G#m] [E] Kind of nasal-y delivery [C#m] there, that was kind of [B] fun.
[F#]
[G#m] [E] I'm [B] kind of liking the low tempo aspect to this [C#m] song,
because it's [G#m] sort of infusing [E] traditional pop sounds with slightly [B] more pop rock aspects.
[F#] But by keeping [G#m] the tempo down, [E] it sort of adds an almost [B] ballady aspect to [F#] it.
[B] Slower, [G#m] sadder.
[E]
[B] [F#]
[G#m] [E]
[B] Ooh.
Really spacious.
[F#]
[B]
[F#] Even that slight filtering [C#] there on the guitar [E] [C#] really [B] adds to the layerings of the [F#] instrumental.
[G#m]
[B]
[G#m] [E]
[B] [F#] Ooh.
[G#m] He's got a really fun voice.
[E] Who's he?
He's got the slightly nasal voice, [B] he's really good.
Really distinctive.
[G#m] [E]
[B] [F#] I actually [C#] completely [C#m] forgot that these [G#m] guys were like a band, [E] rather than just a K-pop group.
[B] [F#]
[G#m] [E]
[B] [F#]
[G#m] [E]
[B] Ooh.
[F#] The melody is fantastic.
[G#] It's so [E] subtle.
It's really [B] fantastic, though.
[D#m]
[G#m] [E]
[B] [D#m] Decent electric guitar, a little bit [E] simple, [D#] to be honest.
[F#] Cracking vocals [B] there.
A little switch up, kind of [G#m] more breathy.
[B] [F#]
I [A#] [F#]
[B] [E] couldn't quite tell, but it sounded like there was a [B] transition from a little bit of [F#] piano chords into the electric guitar,
but it [G#m] happened so smoothly.
[E] Really impressive.
[B] [F#]
[G#m] [E]
Yeah.
[B] [F#]
[G#m] [E]
[B] [F#]
[G#m] Damn.
[E]
[B] [F#]
[N] That's got to be one of my favourite comeback title tracks of this year.
Really, really enjoyed the pop-rock song.
I liked a lot of the aspects of the instrumental.
I thought the drums were fantastic, really gripping.
Had a nice amount of space in between them, which allowed that really simple and subtle melody to just sit on top of the drumline.
Sounded really, really fantastic, the way they integrated.
And the vocals were great, because they kept on switching between two [D#] distinct different voices.
I don't know even their names, unfortunately.
The main vocalist, he had a really, really [N] nice voice, but it wasn't particularly exciting.
And then they'd switch over to the guy with a slightly more nasal voice,
and he just seemed to switch it up and almost improve the other guy's vocals just by
I don't even know how to describe it.
Music video was simple and to the point.
[G] Enjoyable, nothing special.
Black and white looked [N] great.
And yeah, looking forward to more music from them.
That was really, really enjoyable.
Highlight, obviously, like I said, the melody.
Really, really well prepared.
Dinked, but subtle at the same time.
That's exactly what you want from a pop-rock song like that.
So yeah, it was great.
Thank you very much for watching, guys.
I hope you guys have enjoyed.
If you did, don't forget to leave a like and a comment.
