design tutorial for you [Eb] guys.
[Gb] I recently talked to [Bbm] Xcision, and you won't believe [Fm] this.
I
actually stole his [Eb] heavy ass [F] bass.
Again, please don't [Fm] share this with anyone, because
I will be ripped as fuck.
[Eb] Here's [Gb] how the bass sounds like.

[F] Now, before we jump into [Fm] the tutorial, make sure to check

Alright, [Fm] so, now,
open up a new serum.
[Eb] Turn [Gb] down oscillator 8 to octaves, [Db] and modulate with a macro the
level.
[Eb] Set as a warping [F] mode FM from B, turn it on [Bb] [Ab] 70%, and modulate at [Eb] 10%.
[Gb] Turn on oscillator
[Bbm] B.
Turn it down [Fm] one octave, and turn the level all the way [Eb] down.
[F] Set the wavetable on basic
[Ab] shapes, and make sure you get a saw wave.
[F] Set as [Gb] a warping mode bend minus, and [Fm] modulate
it backwards from 25% to [Eb] 20%.
[F]
Now, turn on the [Bb] filter, and set it as a high notch [F] 12.
Put the cutoff on 65Hz, and [Fm] modulate at [Bbm] 25%.
_ [Eb] [G] Turn the resonance all the way down, and modulate
at [Bb] 40%.
Also, put the frequency [Ebm] on 90%, and modulate [Fm] it backwards 55%.
Now, [F] on the FX panel,
turn on [Db] the filter, [Bb] and set it again on a high notch 12.
[F] This [Eb] time, put the cutoff on something
[Fm] around 1900Hz, and modulate it [Eb] backwards [F] 50%.
Turn up the frequency [Ab] on 80%, and modulate
it backwards [Eb] 40%.
[Gb] _
_ [Fm] Now, turn on hyper dimension, and [Eb] turn down the [F] hyper mix just a tiny bit.
Turn [Fm] down the dimension size on something around [Eb] 2%.
[Gb] And also turn up the mix.
Now,
turn on the phaser, [F] set the rate all the way down, and check the BPM.
Copy all these settings,
or you can even mess [Eb] with the depth, [Gb]
frequency and feed.
[Fm] Make sure the mix is set on 30% and
it's [F] modulated 40%.
Turn on the [G] compressor, set it on [F] multiband, and turn up [Ab] the gain just a tiny
bit.
Also, turn [F] the threshold to the left just [Gb] a bit.
Now, [Fm] turn on the EQ, and set it on a high
[F] path filter, and modulate it 50%.
[Fm] As a final touch, turn [Eb] on delay.
Set the [Gb] left and right channels to
1 [Fm] out of 256, and set it as [Eb] a ping pong.
[F] Also, turn the feedback [Ab] on 10%, and modulate it 40%.
[Eb] Do this also on [Gb] the mix, but make [Fm] sure it's set on 30% and it's modulated [Eb] 25%.
Now, to get that
[Fm] excision vibe, [Ab] we need to add vibrato to our bass.
[Eb] Go into the matrix, and set as a source [Db] LFO 1.
Put the [Bb] amount on 11, and set the [F] destination to master tuning.
Put as an aux source macro [F] 2,
and put the output on [Bbm] 21.
_ Now, into the LFO 1, [F] make a sine wave shape.
_ [Bbm] _ _
[Eb] _ _ _ [Eb] Make sure it's set [Fm] to off,
and uncheck BPM.
Put the [Eb] rate on something around [F] 16Hz.
[Fm] Our final [E] result. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [Fm] Of course, this bass needs
some post [Eb] processing.
I added [Gb] like 3 EQs, [Db] and an OTT with full depth, with a shit ton of [Eb] out gain
and a [F] little bit of in gain, with a lot of [Fm] time.
I added a camel crusher, some reverb, [Eb] and a limiter.
