So [Abm] the Great View EP is completely finished now, [E] it's mixed and mastered.
I'm just waiting to, well hopefully going to release [Abm] that in the next couple of weeks.
So what you want to do is head over to the [E] Facebook page, hit like, and then [Abm] so you can
keep up to date with, you know, like gigs [E] and releases and downloads [Abm] and all that.
So the link's in the description so you [E] want to go check that out.
[Abm]
[E] Well, I feel that [Ab] social [Abm] networking websites is just like, it's the main focus for signed
[E] and even, you know, unsigned acts.
It's [Abm] at your fingertips.
You can just go to like these
different sites and you [E] can just search for a band that got access [Abm] to their tour dates,
you've got access to their videos, you've [E] got access to the actual music [Dbm] itself.
One of my most favourite [Abm] platforms is YouTube because you just type whatever [E] you want into
the search, like if a [Dbm] band name, you know, if you've got [Ab] the person's channel name, you
can just find them [E] straight away and you can just, it's endless.
I've spent [Abm] hours just
trudging through [E] music on YouTube because it's just, I've found so many [Abm] great bands
on there and I mean, me, myself, my [E] channel and my music, I'd like to [Abm] thank a guy called
Damian [E] from the US which is like, he runs under the name of Make Me Bad [Abm] 35.
He's helped
me out so much and helped me out with [E] subscribers, you know, views and [Abm] that's just amazing.
And also his friend as well, [E] Kyle, which has the channel 12th of a [Abm] Dime, he uses my music
and it's just, I'd like to thank [E] him a lot for doing everything that [Abm] he's done, you know,
pushing my music out there.
It's just, it's [E] amazing that you've got people in different
[Abm] countries that will help you out.
It's amazing.
[E] So the [Abm] main question you usually ask is, what gear do I use?
I mean, I [E] don't really have
a major [Dbm] amount of studio [Abm] equipment.
I mean, a lot of people say, oh, the songs you make,
you must [E] use so much equipment.
I'm [Dbm] like, no, I just [Abm] take it back to basics.
I mean,
if you use a [E] lot of equipment, it's amazing because you can [Dbm] get really good results but
at the same [Abm] time, you can also kind of like, [E] overlook the fact that you've got [Abm] to take
it back to, you know, I don't need all of this.
I can still write, you know, a song
on just a little drum machine maybe, you know, and, but no, [E] what I use is, I use an
Axion 25.
[Abm] That's pretty good for what I need.
I'm not a very competent keyboard [Dbm] player.
I kind of, you know, just [Abm] noodle around on it, you know, I work with just, you know,
[E] basic chords [Gb] and see where I go with that.
For my [Abm] sound card, I'm using an M-Audio Fast
Track Pro and then [E] for my monitoring, like speakers wise, [Abm] I just use the good old trusty
[E] Alesis M1 Actives.
[Gb] [Abm] I'm now using Reason 5 and [Db] I do believe they're announcing [F] Reason
6 now, which is awesome.
[Eb] I'm looking forward to that.
[Gb] [Ab]
My main influences is my cousin,
Ross New, who [Gb] actually plays in a band called [Ab] Cousin Avi, which are from Northampton in
the UK.
He writes like [Bb] amazing music [Gb] and those as a collective as [Ab] well, write amazing music.
Like, you can check those out.
It's in the description.
So go check those guys out.
I think you'll really enjoy it.
