And then I [Bb] [C] played
[A] The loop goes [Gm] around,
a [Dm]

[Gm] and [Bb] so on.
And I went like, wow, this is [A] great!
It sounded so good.

[Dm]
Phil's sitting over there, I'm sitting over here,
so he [G] wanted me to [Dm] play the chords without the guitar
[D] so that he had something [C] to [Bb] figure out the melody for his vocals and stuff like that.
[F] And so that's what I did.
And then he [C] took it home.
[D] And then basically, [Bb] we have done that with quite [F] a few songs in general.
[G] That was kind of [Dm] our

I wrote an instrumental,
[F] and [D] it ended up so good that Phil wanted [Bb] to take out the instrumental
and just let him hear the chords and see what [A] he can come up with.
And he would come up with something really good,
and then we just [F] started him singing over the same [C] chords
until we got, [A] you know, after two verses and [Bb] choruses,
we [D] inserted the instrumental [A] part of the song.
[Bb] [C] I'm on the [F] run [D] so [A] far away

I think that's when it took off.
