[N] Hey what's up this is Head from Korn and I'm here to show off my Comrade 7 string from Ibanez.
I really love this guitar, just the paint splatter is something I came up with.
Back when we first started Korn, when I would get guitars I would just demolish them.
I'd get a screwdriver and start chipping the paint away so it would look just mangled like
a truck run over it.
So the paint just looks, saves me a lot of work because it looks really jacked up already.
This one, all the Comrades are made, the body is made out of basswood, the neck is rosewood.
So I don't know, it just gives it a, I like that wood choice because it gives it a nice thick sound.
I use the DiMarzio pickups and yeah, so it's just, you know I cut the tone knob off of
this one because I don't use them and I think they're pointless for where I'm at.
But I do like the bridge and the neck pickups [Ab] because I do like, for falling away from me
I like to get [G] that, [N] for the neck pickup and then the bridge pickup, just that crunchy
grimy Korn sound.
So yeah, this is, it's got everything that I need in a guitar right now.
So yeah, Comrade.
I got, this is the Whosoever sticker on here.
I put that on there, it's an organization that me and some of the guys in POD, Fieldy
and just some other people we got for, it's an organization, it's a movement to help just
the at-risk youth out there on the streets ruining their lives like we used to.
So we care about where the world's heading so we're trying to show some love, you know
what I'm saying?
