[E] Toronto's favorite crazies, Max Webster, have just completed their fifth studio album due for release [Db] in a couple of weeks.
[Eb] We came out to [Am] Mississauga [Dm] to visit them, where we found an almost all-new Max Webster rehearsing for an upcoming tour.

[F] [G] [B] Max Webster has three new members.
Greg Chadd, who played keyboards with Saga on the Images at Twilight [C] LP.
Mike Gingrich, formerly with Nightwinds and more recently Long John [F] Baldry.
And Steve McMurray, who used to play guitar with [C] Wireless.
He was hired to take some of the pressure off Kim [D] Mitchell.
[F] The new Max sounds tight and may go even heavier than they were before, as we found out when they unleashed this potential hit upon us.

[Gm] Let's talk about the [C] new album.
You're stuck with the title [F] Universal Juveniles.
We're not stuck with it.
No, I said [C] you stuck with it.
You [G] stayed to it.
Yes, yes, we did stay with it.
But now that I think of it, we're stuck with it.
Universal Juveniles, yeah, that whole thing was [D] built up by Pi.
[G] He gets all our album titles and stuff like that.
Basic image control, you know.
Bank.
Input bank, you know.
[D] Now that you've got a five-piece band [Em] together and you and Gary are virtually the only [B] stage members [Em] remaining from the [Ab] original Max Webster,
how do you think people are going to take [D] that?
[E] Are they going to believe it's still Max Webster?
Yeah, they should, because it's all Max Webster tunes and all these people I believe are [G] Max Websters.
Well, it'll [Dm] be written on a ticket, Max [Ab] Webster, when they come to the door.
I hope they believe it'll be Max.
I won't be jealous.
[D] The whole history [G] of Max, there's always been members [F] changing, [G] usually once an album.
You know, I'd like to break that tradition.
It's just, it's, no, I'm serious.
It's like, you know, the office out of there.
Okay, they finished another [Ab] album.
Who's going to go?
You know, who's the spot?
It's, I'd like to stop that now, you know.
And I believe it'll be stopped now.
[A] Because, [G] you know, a band just goes through changes and you'll lose some fans.
I would imagine we will lose some fans, but, you know, it's still, it's really good.
The band sounds [E] better than [G] it ever has.
So at this [E] stage, even like a week and a half in rehearsal, so.
On Battlescar, one of the tracks [C] from the new album, [Fm] you got together with the guys from Rush.
How did they come [C] about appearing on the album?
[Am] It was, we were playing the song on an American tour and they were always hanging out on the side of the stage watching it.
And it was just a dressing room thing, you know, back after for a few drinks.
And boy, we should get together and record that.
Kind of like, you know, come on over for a barbecue, [Fm] that kind of thing or whatever.
And [Am] we did it.
We ended [D] up actually doing it.
And it was amazing.
Great day.
Went all day, all night.
[C] Really [Cm] good shot in the arm, you [Ab] know.
This is called Battlescar.
[E] [D] While [A] Rush did a lot of work [E] on Battlescar and the Universal Juveniles [Dm] album,
they also [G] had some [D] help from former members Dave Stone and Dave Miles.
