Next tune we're going to play [E] started off as a bagpipe tune.
It's called Facing the Big Room.
[D#m] And now it's become, [E] well it's a pretty advantageous tune.
So, Jerry [B] Carthy, who played here a couple years ago, he learned this from [F#] the famous banjo player Arnie McKenna from the Dubliners in Ireland.
[E] And I learned this from [B] Jerry Carthy.
So, it's a great tune.
It's pretty upbeat.
And it always seems to get the audience clapping.
_ But the problem is [Em] it's kind of a long tune [E] too.
So, after the first [F] hour, you're hailing from New [E] York, and you're tired.
So, [B] this is a problem because Anson [N] comes in right at that time.
So, as soon as Anson comes in, everybody stops clapping.
And so, it's starting to get the better of the self-confidence.
[B] So, it would be great if this time you could wait until Anson starts playing the [C#] melody, and then start clapping along.
