Guys what's up?
It's Brian back here again with another guitar tutorial
We'll call this one missed it Monday, I guess
Martin Garrix Justin Milo out over the weekend with this new song called burnout
Which is featuring?
vocal artist Dwayne Whitmore
it's super cool and
There's a kind of a neat
Guitar part to start and then it'll just really use three chords after that.
So I think it'll be pretty easy to learn
Before we get started though, if you haven't subscribed to this channel already, I hope you consider doing so
We use five to ten tutorials a week all fresh new cuts like Martin Garrix like marshmallow like Alan Walker
So if you're new to guitar and you want to learn using the freshest newest
EDM tracks or otherwise that are out there then this is the channel for you, and I hope you consider subscribing
All right, so no capo for this song.
All right, there's a lick to start
We're just gonna sound kind of like this
Gonna go
[Em]
[Bm] Okay
[G]
[Ab]
Now what I will tell you is that this this part
requires a little bit of finger movements and adjusting
During it
So it's not just gonna be kind of the one of those things where you can make a chord shape and move up and down
The frets and back down you're gonna need to adjust your fingers a little bit which
[G] Sucks in one respect, but it'll help you kind of improve your technique in others.
All right, so the first
part of this chord shape you're gonna start at
3 2 3 0. Okay, and you're only gonna pluck the G and B strings [D] respectively Okay, and that's gonna be the low part of this first lick So you're gonna go you're gonna start at 3 2 3, but you're actually gonna move up to 5 4 [Eb] 5 On the on the G or sorry on the D G and B strings respectively So what you're gonna do is you're gonna do a pluck and move basically, you [D] know, pluck [E] move [Gb] [Em] And pluck pluck pluck rest pluck. Okay, [F] so it's gonna sound like [B] that [Em] then for this next part what I would do is get ready to do a Minor chord shape [G] on on the next part on the next move up So here's where I would adjust my my finger structure from moving from this 5 4 5 2 7 7 7 Okay, so what you would do right now, I have my I have my ring finger holding the D string I have my middle finger holding the G string and I have my pinky on the B But now what I'm gonna do is when I move up I'm going to adjust my pinky and my ring finger and switch those out So now it's gonna be ring pinky middle and I'm holding all of these on the 7 [D] Okay So you are kind of crunching your fingers together to fit them all into this fret, right? You see that so even my even my middle finger is in on the seventh fret I don't know if there's I don't even know if there's an angle in which you would be able to see that you see it [Ab] Yeah, okay. So then you're gonna move up to [D] zero zero nine nine eight So you're gonna do that same little pluck and move [Em] and now you're not on the same Okay, so you're gonna go You're gonna go to that from that zero zero seven seven seven zero two zero zero nine nine eight Zero for the first part and then the last pluck you're gonna add your index finger to the seventh fret [G] high E string Okay So if you put it all together, here's [D] what it should sound like you're gonna go [Em] then you're gonna do your switch [Bm] [Em]
Okay again [D] Pluck [Em] move pluck pluck pluck pluck move [Bm] again [Em]
okay, that's all you need to do and You know you you could just do a C to D to E minor Kind of move up if you wanted to just make it easier and just [G] bar chord it [D] [Em]
It's gonna give you that same feel Without having to kind [C] of squash your fingers up and do all that, but it's up to you All right, the rest of the song though is Going to be the following chords. You're gonna go see Okay, and I'm just doing [Gb] zero three two zero one zero [B] B and Right here is just I'm just doing kind of a [G] half open bar chord. So zero four zero two four four [B] zero zero [Eb] Then E [Em] minor which you can play down here zero two two zero zero zero [B] or you can go from that B B half chord up [Em] to zero seven nine nine zero zero Okay So the way that this is strummed out it's gonna go C four [C] strums B [B] four strums then E for eight beats, but what I would [N] do is strum four times and then [F] rest and then strum and [Eb] rest So it's gonna [E] sound like strum some some strum rest strum [Eb] Rest, okay, so it's gonna sound like this put it all [C] together or four four four [B] four four four [E] [F] That's and then you just go [C] back and do it again [E] [C] [E]
And if you don't want to come all the way up [C] here you can go [B] [Am]
[B] [Em] And [Eb] then there you go. That's it. That's all you have to do cool Hope you enjoyed this tutorial If you did and you love this song give it a like down below comment on what you want to learn if there are other Martin Garrick songs that you want to learn that are out there [F] subscribe right here check out some other videos here and here Thank you so much for watching and I hope you'll subscribe and I hope to see you soon. So zero four zero two four four [B] zero zero _ [Eb] Then E [Em] minor which you can play down here zero two two zero zero zero [B] or you can go from that B B half chord up [Em] to _ zero seven nine nine zero zero _ Okay So _ _ the way that this is strummed out it's gonna go C four [C] strums _ _ B [B] four strums _ then _ E for eight beats, but what I would [N] do is strum four times and then [F] rest and then strum and [Eb] rest So it's gonna [E] sound like strum some some strum rest strum [Eb] Rest, okay, so it's gonna sound like this put it all [C] together or four four four [B] four four four [E] _ _ _ _ [F] _ _ _ That's and then you just go [C] back and do it again [E] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [C] _ _ [E] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ And if you don't want to come all the way up [C] here you can go [B] _ _ _ _ _ _ [Am] _ _
_ [B] _ _ _ _ _ [Em] And [Eb] then there you go. That's it.
