Marshmello - Here With Me feat. CHVRCHES || EASY Ukulele Tutorial chords
Start Jamming...
Okay, the ukulele is tuned.
I've got the tea
I'm wearing my slippers and my pajamas we can continue with this tutorial.
Oh, I forgot
I just made that that's really hot.
Oh
Hey guys, what's up?
Welcome back to my channel for another video today
We are going to do a ukulele tutorial for here with me by Marshmello featuring churches
Although it's like not churches spelled with like CHU
It's CHBRCHES because they're cool like that and we're gonna do an easy ukulele tutorial
That's right.
It is easy
There are no funky bar chords or other funky things
Because life is funky enough and we don't need any more of that
So for this tutorial you will need a ukulele because that's important
You will also need to capo your third fret like this
You want to put it just above the third fret as close to the little fret little fret guy
If you've got your tea or coffee or whatever it is that you want and let's begin this tutorial
To play this song you need to know a minor
[Bb] G
[Ebm] [Ab]
[Eb] C and D [Fm] minor
[N] And these chords are not exactly played in that progression.
So we will go through what that is right now
Anyway, I hope you guys like this video
And subscribe and join the family because I post new videos every week.
All right, let's go
The way I figured this out is that they're gonna be two different strumming patterns.
That's right to strumming patterns
We are keeping it easy today guys.
You're keeping it easy peasy lemon squeezy everything
I'm reading off of which is a paper these two papers
But you can't see them because I have my tea on top of it and I don't want to move the tea
So it's saying the tea is gonna stay there
But I will copy and paste the paper that I'm reading off of into the description box
Or it will be in the comments.
So go look for that and you will you can read off exactly what I'm reading off of too
Okay, so let's run through the first chord progression [Cm] first.
What you do is a minor
and [Bb] then G
[Ebm] [Ab] F and then [Ebm] C you do that same chord progression [Cm] again, you're gonna go back to a minor
then [Bb] G
[C]
then [Ab] F [Eb] and
Then C you do those four chords [Cm] same order one more time a minor
[Bb] G
[Ab] F and [Eb] C and [Abm] then the last chord progression is [Fm] different.
It is D minor
[Ab] then F
[C] G
[Bb]
[Eb] C
[Abm] Just like [Cm] that.
Here we go.
First strumming pattern.
It is this
one and [Bb] two and three and four [Ab] and one and [Eb] two and
Three and [Cm] four and one more time one and [Bb] two and three and four [Ab] and one and
[Eb] two and three and [Ab] four and so your first strum on the one and two [Abm] on the
And [Bb] after two you go to the next chord and three and four and next chord
Which in this case is F [Ab] and you go one and two when you get to the and [Abm] after two
Go to the next [Eb] chord
Which is C and three and [Abm] four and and that same pattern just repeats [B] for the whole verse
You could actually do the strumming pattern for the whole song if you want to but for our purposes
We're just doing it for the first verse.
We are [Ab] strumming this I am strumming down with [Cm] my thumb right here
I still haven't found a ukulele pick [Abm] that I actually like I am on the quest for the perfect
Ukulele pick and I have not found it yet.
[Bb] So therefore I'm just using [Cm] my thumb like this
That's what I'm doing, [N] all right, let's run through that chord progression with that strumming pattern we won't sing
Yeah, we're just gonna run through it.
Okay, you're ready
Let's get one and two and [Cm] ready and go and one [Bb] and two and three [Ab] and four
and one [Eb] and two and three and [Cm] four and one [Bb] and two and
Three [Ab] and four and one [Eb] and two and three [Cm] and four and one [Bb] and two
And three [Ab]
and four and one [Eb] and two and three and [Fm] four and one [Ab] and two and three
And [Bb] four and [Eb] one and two and three and four [E] in if you're ready
Let's sing with it [Cm] one and two and ready and go and [Bb] can I tell you [Ab] something?
[Eb] Just between you and me
[Cm] [Bb] When I hear your [Ab] voice, I [Eb] know leave
Free [Ab] [Bb] every single [Ab] word is [Eb] perfect death can be [Fm] [Ab] and I need [Bb] you
[Eb]
[Cm] [Bb] When you lift me [Ab] up, I know [Eb] that I'll never [Cm] fall [Bb] I can speak [Ab] to you by [Eb] saying nothing
[Cm]
Every [Bb] single [Ab] time I find [Eb] it harder to [Fm]
breathe [Ab] cuz I [Bb] need you
[D]
[Cm] There you go, you can play the whole song like that if you want to okay next drumming pattern, which is this down down [Bb] down down
Down [Ab] down down down [Eb] down down down down down down down.
[Abm] So I'm just strumming down
I'm just [N] using my fingertips my nails right here.
So it's down down down down
Down down down so you play down you strum down seven times
Let's run through the chord progression one time using this drumming pattern.
Alright, you ready?
Let's try it one
and two and ready and [Ab] go and
Down down [Bb] down down down down [Ab] down down down [Eb] down down [A] down down down down [Bb]
down down down down [Ab] down down [Eb] down down down [Cm] [Bb] down down down down down down down [Ab] down down down down
[Eb] down down [Ab] down down down down down down down down down [Bb] [Eb] down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down [Db] down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down down
And there you go that strumming pattern works also to [Fm] note there is a no chord spot in it where after you play the d minor
Down down [Ab] down down you just strum the f
One time and then you just play no chord while you sing [Fm] like this
Because I need you here with me [N] so you don't play a chord
So there is an nc in that thing
I'm going to copy and paste but if you want to keep going and play this g and the c you go for it, man
You go for it.
No one's stopping you you have fun because I would probably do that too
Okay, let's sing the chorus now.
You ready?
One two go [Eb] Every day
[Bb]
[Ab] You're saying the words that I want you to say
[Bb]
[Ab] There's a pain in my heart and it [Cm] won't go away
[Bb]
[Ab] Now I know I'm [Eb] falling in [Fm] deep
[Ab] Because I need you here with me every day
[Bb]
[Ab] You're saying the words that I want [D] you to say
[Bb] [Ab] There's a pain in [Eb] my heart and it won't go away
[Ab]
[Bb] [Ab] Now I know I'm [Eb] falling in deep [Ab]
because I need [Bb]
you here [Eb] with me
[Abm] All right, there you go, I hope that helped [N] you I hope you're having a great rest of your day
Have fun drink more tea or coffee or other things that are good drink it
Anyway, I hope that tutorial helped you.
Hopefully I will see you all in my next video
Have a good rest of your day and i'll catch you next time
Bye
