[E] Praise the Lord, dear brothers and sisters.
How are you all?
As you all know, God has been so good to give me my husband, Raj Prakash Paul Garu.
Many of you have been asking me how do I find God's will in marriage.
I would like to tell you very briefly three main keys out of my experience.
The first and foremost is by [B] taking a promise.
If you are in a situation where you don't understand [E] who the right partner is or if
you don't know what to do, the [A] best place to go to is God.
Kneel down, [B] pray, ask God to speak [E] to you.
Ask God to show you if the person or the family that is [B] approaching you are in God's will.
How?
The Bible.
[E] God's word is living and active.
His word will directly [A] speak to you whether it's for the cause or against [B] it.
So [E] instead of asking people for their opinion, seek God first for [B] his opinion and what he
gives you is the [E] absolute best [C#m] than all that you've ever [E] desired.
Secondly, fasting [A] and waiting.
God will never give you [B] anything if you're not ready.
[E] Fasting is a way of dying to your flesh and saying, God, here I am.
Let your will be done through me.
[B] God says in his [E] word, James 4, 2, you do not have because you do not ask.
How can [A] God give you [E] anything precious when you don't even ask him for it?
Ask him.
There is no blessing without the pain.
Fast, pray, seek his intervention in your life.
God's word also says in Romans 12, 12 that we need to rejoice in hope, be [A] patient in
trouble and be [E] constant in prayer.
Many a times God does not give us anything quick.
If he did, maybe we would never really understand how valuable it is, but he keeps us waiting.
So in the process, we are prepared.
We become patient and [A] truly understand the worth of what he gives [E] us.
The season of waiting is oftentimes the best, though it might seem hard because in this
season [B] that you truly understand the father's [C#m] heart.
So don't detest this time.
Instead come closer [A] to Jesus.
Thirdly, purity.
All of you know the [E] Bible verse, what you sow is what you reap.
It's the same regarding your marriage.
Don't live a shabby, impure life and expect [C#m] a godly partner.
Keep yourself [E] pure and blameless.
Don't [A] ignite love to the other person even though you know it's not God's will, even
though [E] you know that you're not going to marry him or her.
That's why the Bible says in Songs of Solomon, don't ignite love until the time is [C#m] ripe.
Don't forget that whatever you do now, the consequence [A] always follows, whether good or bad.
Don't give [E] the devil a foothold in your life.
Cut all the wrong relationships and friendships.
Keep [Am] yourself pure in the eyes of [E] God and in the eyes of people.
Remember that the second best decision after [A] receiving Jesus is your marriage.
[E] You can either [A] experience hell [C#m] or heaven on earth [E] because of your partner.
So [A] choose wisely.
Choose to ask Jesus.
[E] God bless you.
