I would love to ask you what is one thing that the world does not know about Billy Ramone?
That he had a lot of nice girlfriends.
He did.
That he had a lot of girlfriends.
Even from the day I met him in 1976 up until he passed away, he had a lot [Gm] of girlfriends.
A lot of people looked at him like he [E] was a freak.
[F] Who's that guy?
But you know what?
Fuck them.
He won in the end.
He had a lot of girlfriends.
He had a great career, great time.
But unfortunately, [Gb] cancer took over and he passed away.
But in his life, he achieved what he wanted.
Let's face it, he was never going to [Eb] be a [Ebm] Wall Street investor [Eb] or a banker or a doctor or [F] a lawyer.
He was going to be what his destiny called.
And that was a front man for one of the greatest bands of all time.
Absolutely.
[Ab] Tell me one thing the world does not know about [N] Johnny Ramone.
He had a lot of girlfriends, too.
A lot of girlfriends.
I think he had joeys.
A lot of girlfriends, a lot of wives.
He really liked to collect sci-fi posters.
We did together.
When we were tourist states, we would go to the Yellow Pages, look up collectibles.
We'd see the stores.
We'd have the road manager drive us to the store, go through the poster bins.
50s, 60s sci-fi posters, oral posters.
And at the time, they were like $15, $20 because nobody was really into collecting them.
Then a couple of years later, that same poster that was $20 would be $300, $400.
So we were huge sci-fi fans.
Johnny had one of the largest 8x10 black and white autographed sports photos of anybody.
So a little info there about Johnny.
And of course, last, tell us one thing the world does not know about Dee Dee Ramone.
Wow, Dee Dee, that's a whole book.
Dee Dee was a whirlwind hurricane.
Dee Dee would say something in front of five people,
and you would never think in a million years that he would say it.
All this is going to be in my book.
There were a few [Gb] incidences that happened that I was stunned.
[Ab] And he was very unpredictable.
But the best songwriter we ever had, he wrote Pet Sematary in 40 minutes.
Stephen King gave him the book.
We were there eating with him in his place in Maine.
Maine, right?
Yeah.
And that's what it was, Pet Sematary.
I mean, the guy had a very [Gb] vivid childlike imagination.
When you read his books, you see that [Bb] his biographies about him and his writing,
they're not, I'm not saying truthful.
They're just colored with a lot of exaggeration,
which makes him a great songwriter.
That he had a lot of nice girlfriends.
