2009 by Mac Miller is a very beautiful song.
It's not the easiest but once you get it down it's pretty easy.
I'll show you guys the chord progression that you add to [F#m] your
[D]
[Bm]
[Em] So with that, pretty much a four.
[F#m] [D]
[A] [Bm]
So [D#] left hand is going to [F#] start with G flat.
[B] While your right hand plays G flat, [F#] A, [F#m] D flat.
Then you're going to tap the D flat twice.
So from here, one, two.
[C#m]
Left hand is going to be playing D flat.
Right hand is going to play E, A flat, [C#] B.
[E] And um, hand.
Now if your hand can't reach you, you can just get rid of this E down here and just play.
[C#m] I mean it's more comfortable.
[F#m] It's a little hard.
[C#] And from there you're going to go to D on your [D] left hand.
While your right hand is going to play D, G flat, A.
Tapping the A twice.
From here, [E]
[A] left hand is going to play A.
Right hand is going to play E, A, B flat.
[F#m] So far, [D]
[A]
[Bm] left hand is going to play B with an optional [B]
G flat.
Right hand is going to play B, [Bm] D, G flat.
[F#m]
And repeat.
[D] [Bm]
[E] That's pretty much the whole [G] song.
Now I have a more, um, I don't know what to call it, intense version.
[F#m] [C#m] [D]
[A] [D]
[F#m] [C#m]
[D] [A] [F#m]
[B]
Now if I get enough comments and what not on that, then I will teach you guys that version.
But that's just my more, you know, over the top version.
But as far as the song itself, that's everything you need to know.
I'll go ahead and cut.
