This is the first time your kids, all your kids, there's what, 10 between all five of you guys?

Most of them are back in the dressing [D] room coloring.
_ We have _ underage girls [Eb] back in our dressing room, but it's not [Am] like it used to be.

So this has got to be pretty monumental then,
because this is the first time [Abm] all the kids get to see what daddy really does
when he's [Gb] not doing whatever he does [D] normally.

We were so [G] stoked because we were actually trying to figure out a way to do a show
because we had those two [D] Caz Ball shows.
[Gb] And we were like, man, it would be really [B] cool if we could figure out how to do something that the kids can go to
because we can't sneak [D] them into the Caz Ball.
[Gbm] Most of them are a little too [Bb] young.
[G] And then this came up and we were like, oh my God, perfect.
[Cm] _ Well, thanks [G] for doing this.
[E] Who are you looking forward to [Eb] seeing besides yourselves?
[Bb] _ _ Well, we're the [D] best, but _ _ _ [Abm] I'm looking forward [Cm] to seeing, of course, Rocket [Em] and Pen Back.

And these guys sound pretty good.

I think I heard the other band say that already, but [G] we really are.

I think I heard one of the other bands already say [Gbm] they were the best, but we're clearly the best.
The funny thing is I keep asking all the other bands and they're all [D] like, well, we really want to see Rocket,
but they're scared of Rob Crow.

Rocket's more frightening.

The crazy thing is that this is the first show that Lucy's Fur Coat and Rocket from the Crypt ever played together.
And all this time.
And we used to share a band studio [N] together.
When we first started out, it was like Lucy's and [B] Rocket in the same rehearsal studio.
[D] Some wretched, [A] cracked [Bb] out [G] place over by _ Washington Avenue [C] there.
And we used to always go to Niko's and get beer and [Em] food.
And what was the [Eb] Bar [N] Dynamite?
Now Bar Dynamite's like a happening place, I think I heard or something.
I don't know.
Things have changed.
But I asked John Rhys about it earlier and he [G] said, Lucy's?
I don't know those guys.
[E] Oh, well, that's weird because I was just talking to him.

He just [Gbm] doesn't want to talk about you guys.
Anyway, so what can we expect tonight?
_ _ _ Blue collar, sweaty rock and roll per usual.
[D] _ [Em] I did reach out to Dean DeLeo to invite him to come down to the show.
Because technically at this point, because you sworn up and down to me, this will be your last [G] show ever.
_ Who did that?
[A] I believe it was Charlie that swore up and down until the next one, of course.
And [Db] he was bummed [A] that he's not going to be here.
[E] Which is, yeah, no, Dean's a cool guy.
We like those guys.
No worries.
So we're going to invite them to play the [Gb] next one.
And if they come play the next one with their new lead singer, who's this guy from [Db] Linkin Park, you [Gbm] guys can come see them.
[Ab] Or maybe they'll have Charlie [Gb] sing and then they can like kind of go full circle on their whole deal.
This will be the last time Charlie ever sings, dude.
