You know my phone number?
Oh, sure.
Continuous music is a very natural progression
from classical piano technique.
When I went to do this music,
like [Cm] everything, nothing else [N] existed.
I had no job, I had no money whatsoever,
and I really mean nothing,
nothing at all, and just piano and me.
And it was there that the pianist,
when he eliminates the world
and puts aside everything else
and simply has this keyboard, this instrument,
and his fingers and his hand and his heart, his soul,
and that's all that exists in the universe,
the whole universe, that's it.
Then, something beautiful starts to happen.
I know this sounds very crazy for people,
but I think people really must come to
Modern people have lost,
have tragically lost the [Gb] understanding
of the universe and [Eb] the world as a [G] metaphysical thing,
that it's [Gb] not a physical universe that we live in,
[G] that it's a spiritual, metaphysical element
with [N] different dimensions.
And so I think this piano music
reawakens people from this sleep, [G] you know.
The society has gone to sleep
[Ab] and is not in touch with what we see
[G] and what we live and what we do.
[Gb] People are out of, they're [Ab] not in touch with their time,
they're not in touch with the sounds around us
[B] or the people around us.
[G] And [N] the concept of a metaphysical world
was very standard with people all the time
[Abm] until [N] the modern era.
I think people lived a life,
a better life, a more meaningful life,
because [G] they understood that things are not what they [N] seem.
I know that people can be transported,
[G] we can be transported to other dimensions, to [N] other realms.
It's not something we should fear.
It's not a crazy thing, it's simply facing reality,
that that's part of our existence.
And it's a beautiful thing.
