[B]
[F#m] I'll be your thief in the night [B] so [F#m] I can steal you.
[B]
[F#m] I'll be your church where you pray [B] so [F#m] I can heal you.
[F#]
[A] I'll be your lover [Bm] when you're late so I can [F#m] feel you.
[B] I'll [A] be your sunlight in [Bm] your day so I [F#m] can see you.
[F#]
[Bm] [A]
[F#m] You'll be my [Bm] life when [F#m] I'm dead.
I'll be your [Bm] calm in the stormy day.
[B]
[F#m]
[Bm]
You'll be [F#m] the beat in my heart [B] when [F#m] there is none.
[B]
[F#m] You'll be the air in my lungs [B] when [F#m] my breath is done.
[B] You'll [A] be the tears I [Bm] can't cry when [D] you're [F#m] weeping.
[B]
[A] You're my only [Bm] reason to [F#m] keep on sleeping.
[Bm] [F#m]
You'll be my [Bm] life [A] when I'm dead.
[F#m] I'll be your [Bm] calm in [A] the stormy [F#m] hair.
Tell my [Bm] woman [F#m] that I tried to stay [Bm] close [A] to her [F#] side.
[N]
Hi!
Don't mind if I had a squeeze in here.
Thank you guys, that was a really great little tune.
Now you've been playing that all around Australia as part of your first Australian tour.
How's the country been treating you?
It's been beautiful.
We just got here yesterday, so so far it's amazing.
And do you [G#m] find that there's similarities, because you guys are from San Diego, so do you find that you feel at home here?
Do you find there's similarities between San Diego and Australia?
[F#] Well we speak the language, for sure.
[Em] Well in the water, you know, it's beautiful.
I've seen some palm trees, so that made me feel at home.
Awesome.
Yeah.
And there's a few surfboards [C#] around here.
A few [Dm] skaters.
[D#] Now you do have your album, Homewrecker, out later this month, on the 24th of October,
for those of you who are watching at home.
How does it feel to kind of have [N] a local release and be able to play it live before it comes out here?
It's awesome.
You know, the fact that our music has travelled this far, it's awesome.
You know, I never would have thought we'd be here, so it's really a dream come true.
Do you get some time to [F#] holiday while you're here as well?
I think we get a day, yeah.
Yeah, [E] that's all you need for Australia.
But hopefully we will have you back [B] sometime soon anyway, so you can fit in [F] a bit of vacation, [N]
a bit of tour.
Now something that's quite interesting that I've noticed you guys have been doing is,
for your Haunted Heart single, you've put it out to fans on the internet to actually send in remixes
of that song.
Have you found some really interesting feedback from that?
We have.
Go ahead.
[D] Yeah, someone arranged it all [N] orchestrally, which is obviously different than we do it.
And that was cool to hear.
A lot of dubstep, which is interesting.
[G] It's really [D] cool to hear other people's take on it.
That [D#] dubstep blue song, I'm sure that's new.
[C#] New ex, new thing.
[D#] You guys are pushing it.
You're pushing those dance boundaries.
I guess so.
Cool.
Well, it's been so great to have you here on Balcony TV Melbourne.
And if you can catch these guys live, I highly recommend it because that there was just awesome.
And I'm sure once we've got a drum kit, it'll be a lot fuller.
A lot bigger, yeah.
And thanks for the boots as well.
I really appreciate those coming on the show.
Thanks so much.
Have a great time [D] in Australia.
Thanks [E] for having us.
Thank you.
