When Nick Reynolds was at my house, I guess about four years [E] ago one summer,
[Gb] someone told us to buy [A] the White Fleetwood Mac [Bb] album.
[Ab] And we bought it and we found that we were playing it all day, [G] every day.
And I [B] was trying to play electric [Eb] guitar at that time.
Had [E] no idea how to even begin.
I [Eb] had a flat pick.
[B] It sounded really terrible.
And I heard Lindsay [Ab] Buckingham play the electric [E] guitar and I said to Nick,
[Ab] he is playing banjo lines.
I know it.
So I started playing with my fingers and copying every lick that Lindsay did.
[B] I was looking for a producer and I heard [G] a Walter Egan album called Not Shy.
[B] And I ran into Walter at the union one day.
And I said, Walter, [A] what's it like working with Lindsay?
He said, you've got to meet [Gb] Lindsay, Johnny.
Learn to play off your records.
And I met Lindsay and [A] he helped me more than I could ever say on that album up there.
[Bb] I love him like a brother.
Would you bring him out?
[Ab]

I'd like to do it for you now live.

[G] I cannot make [D] any words, no [G]
lie.
[D] My eyes, they [G] can see, but it feels like [D] I'm blind.
[G] Is it wrong to be so much [D] in love with [G] a girl, but you can't tell [D] her voice from [G] the spin of the world?
