Bring the kick in.
_ And the floor tom goes on the same beat as the hi-hat. _
_ [B] First snare shot lands on the downbeat, same as the floor [E] tom and hi-hat.
The [Ab] next snare is on the upbeat, lands on the kick. _ _

_ _ _ Let's slow it down a bit so you can see the pattern the hands do.

_ _ Bring it back up. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Try adding some accents on the bass drum and see what happens. _ _ _
Now let's pick her up a notch. _ _
