[B] Yo, what's up, this is Nat.
This is Sean and we're in 303 and you're watching Fuse on demand get it when you want it I
[E] [A] [B]
[A] [F] think the new record is slightly more [F] melodic and
A couple more elements and the I thought it can be proven by the fact we had to [D] bring another person into the live band
To [C] cover the extra parts.
I've never recorded an LCD record in New York
So we always go to a farm in Massachusetts, but that farm was closed
So we needed a new place
So we rented a big house with no equipment or furniture in it in Los Angeles because it would be funny
It's [F] just some dirty [E] carpet
[B] We were [N] chatting we realized we never really had much of a conversation
We've talked about projects before they tangentially but never really had much of a conversation
We decided we just go have lunch and talk we went and had lunch and talked about not work for three hours
Now on the way out he's like well we should collaborate we should do something together and I said well
I'm supposed to shoot a video this weekend, but I don't have any plan or a budget or anything
Yeah, we're just gonna do it.
I guess I'm gonna get some cameras and wing it
That's the way videos used to be right get a horse blow some gauze girl standing in a window.
That's not going anywhere
They'd be throw some paint.
He was like
Why don't I be the cameraman?
It was like, okay, and then we just start talking about ideas
No, it took about 48 hours to plan it and [Gb] most of the cruel things were planned by Nancy
It's it's the only song it's like three half-minute songs
Yeah, everything else like it's nine song album of 65 minutes and one of the songs is three half minutes
So it's kind of a no-brainer
Plus it's the [Ab] dumbest one
[Dbm] you know
It's dumb and catchy.
The other ones kind of [Db] take a real long time
It's hard to get people [Dbm] excited about things take a really long time
Take a very few time, you know when you tell [Ab] two children tell one kid
We're gonna walk in that room and everything's gonna be awesome and you're gonna get your toy when you tell another kid you're gonna walk
In that room and there's gonna be a long program that's gonna improve like your self-awareness
You really use those skills later in life to have a [Dbm] [Ab] what are you gonna choose?
It's not that we're gonna quit, you know, nothing.
There's nothing really grand about it
It's literally like it only seems like a stupid [Eb] idea
I mean it's a stupid idea [G] in a lot of this but it only seems like a stupid idea if you think of things as
A trajectory towards a goal of getting bigger which has never been the goal
So we've made it three records that kind of seem like the cost seems like they work together as like one story
it just seems dignified to or just seems like what we want to do like go do some other stuff and
You know get out with getting good
