When you wrote the song, what were you thinking?

We had a little girl write into one of my friends.
Her name's Ellie Holcomb.
Amazing.
If you've ever heard her music, she's got the voice of just a million souls, right?
And she's someone who takes stories to heart like I do as well.
And so this little girl wrote in and just talked about a terminal illness that she was [Db] going through.
And we wrote this song just to kind of give her comfort in the time of her passing.
