Hey what's up everybody this is [G] Corey Henry here at [C] Korg USA [Bb]
checking out
this beautiful keyboard the Kronos X.
I'm a [G] musician out [A] of [Dm] Brooklyn and usually
[Cm]
I'm known for playing [F]
gospel.
[Bb] Very recently my musical [Eb]
[B] transition has [D] took
a [Db] turn to a lot of [Dm] jazz fusion.
[G] Recently noted [F] playing with a Snarky [Gm] Puppy
[F] fusion band [G] from Dallas [Bm] who resides [G] here in Brooklyn New York now.
Some
amazing [Eb] [Dm] sounds you know we've been [G]
exploring the [Bb] pianos the [G] electric
[F] pianos, [Eb] whirlies [B] and some [Bb] string instruments and you know it's a
[Dm] beautiful sounding board from [C] the feel to [Dm] the [Am] the resonance [G] and the attack of
each sound [E] and you know [F] just having a lot [G] of fun out [Cm] here at Korg.

[Ab]
[E] Yeah with
playing a Kronos it [B] feels [Gb] more as if I'm playing an instrument [B]
as opposed to
[A] you know playing [B] a virtual thing where [Gbm] it becomes [Bm] more [Bbm] programming than
actually [Ab] playing.
[Gb]
It's [Ab] better to feel [B] like you know where ideas [Eb] come more
freely [Abm] and
[Gb] quicker [G] than [E] having to [Abm] stop each [Cm] time around to [Bm] wait for
something to load up or waiting for [Gm] a different sound to come [A] up so I can get
my idea across.
It definitely feels good to just be a [Bm] musician and play an
instrument and get the sounds that I need [Abm] as quick as I need.
[Gb]
[Ab]
[Gm]
[Bbm]
[D]
[Bb]
[Eb]
[Ebm] [C] Kronos does a
great job from [Bb] when you're playing lines you don't really you you [G] can hear [Dm] where
each string is being played and and hammers [Bb] is hitting the strings and and
[Dm] even down to the sustain pedal you know the noise [Gm] that the sustain pedal makes
on a on an actual [Abm] grand it's all there in [Gb] this board [B] I mean [Dbm] as you can hear the
wood, the mic positioning, the room sound [Am] this is an amazing sounding
keyboard.
[B] Recently I've been playing a lot of virtual instruments [E] and getting
into a lot of different sound libraries.
[Em]
The Kronos does a great [Am] job with [C] these
string [B] libraries because it's just better to be able [E] to feel what you're
playing as opposed to click [Am] what you're playing.
[Dm]
[E] [A]
[E] [C]
[F] [C]
[Am]
[E] [A] [E]
[A]
[Bb] The Kronos does a great job of making you [Gb] feel [Bb] as if the instrument that
you're playing is right in the same room with you.
[D]
Every time [Gm] I you know browse
[Eb] another sound [Em] you know it [Bb] kind of gets me into a different place and makes you
want to just play as if you know as if I am a violin player or if I have an
actual [Abm] electric piano you know [Bb] in my house [G] it does a great job at making you
feel [Em] you know that [Bm] you're playing an actual [Eb] instrument.
You know sometimes I spend [C] you know literally [A]
hours before recording or
[F] before leaving to [D] do something else to play [Dm] a gig just playing [Am] sounds and you
[Dm] know and checking out [Am] you know [E] what's [A] some stuff I've never heard whether
there's some synth stuff or you know some voices choir sounding [F] stuff or [A] from
the organs or [D] you know anything [Bb] that's in the board [F] I actually take you know [A] so
much time just [D] enjoying the Kronos.
[Dm]
[A] [D]
[Dbm]
[A] [Dm] [B] [A]
[C] [F] [E]
[C] [Bb] [A]
[B] I definitely want to play the [B] Kronos at
every show instead of having an actual Worley there you know [Dbm] it would be great
to [Ab]
have Kronos [B] there and [Gb] and play every gig with it you know I really would play
every [B] gig I could with this one you know [Gb]
workstation it's incredible.
