[F] All right that was an old Jerry Reed tune it was called East Wind and kind of used a
little thumb picking and yeah Jerry Reed one of my all-time favorite composers played that
on my Richard Smith model Kirk Sand guitar I got this last [F#] year I think it was 2013 I
got this in July and yeah beautiful guitar I've been playing Kirk's guitars now since
well for over 20 years nearly 25 years I guess Brazilian rosewood legal and a Barbera pickup
it's using a rich barbera pickup say it's a Richard Smith model one of the reasons it is
a Richard Smith model is because of the the back and sides which are more like a regular classical
guitar it's a little thinner also one of the one of the key things about this is [G] this cutaway here
and the way that the neck is kind of shaved that hopefully you can see that the way that the neck
there's no standard stock heel that would usually come out all the way this heel is it follows the
curve of the of the of the cutaway and that way it makes it easy to get all the way up here without
a heel kind of digging in and very ergonomic really nice to play all the way up yeah [F#] lovely
piece of spruce on the top and [G#] of course the abalone binding yeah that's the Richard Smith
model and this [C] is my [F] this is my workhorse guitar and the one I play [E] on the road pretty
much [G] exclusively [A] that's [A]
