[D]
[A] [N] One example would be to play like a kind of a swinging, you know, kind [F#m] of, [Am]
[F#m] [Cm]
[Am] [D]
[G#] [F#] [D]
[A] you know, that's
sort of a [F] swing shuffle kind of thing, [D] right?
Cool.
And then you got like all of [Am] the, [A]
[Am] that's still a shuffle, but it's totally [G] different, right?
I just love the way you play rhythm guitar.
I mean, you just, the rhythm guitar part, there's so much feel in it.
[A] And then you got like the kind of backing up a harmonica kind of, [D]
you would still consider
that a shuffle, [C#] you know, or you got like, [A]
[C] [C#]
[E]
[D]
[C#] [A] and that's really just kind of, if you're
only playing one guitar, you're trying to cover both [A#] parts, backing up a harmonica,
you know.
Sweet.
Or you got like, [G] I don't know, I can think of a million, or more of like [A]
[N] true blues type.
I love that.
Give us some more.
[A]
[G#] [A]
[Am] [A]
[Am] [A] [E]
[Am]
[A]
[F#m] [C#]
[A] [D]
[G]
[G#] [E]
[D] [A]
[E] Yeah, I kind [Fm] of Chicago [N] backing up the part.
I mean, that's kind of my whole, I've been, I haven't been playing that a lot lately,
so I'm kind of.
Dude, I'm just a fan.
I'm a music fan enjoying some good music.
Hey, that's, you know, I'm not a fan of the, you know, the, the, the, the, the, the, the
blues, you know, right now, I'm in fan mode.
What about jump blues?
How does that go?
Yeah, well, you got, you know, [F#m] you can do this like thing where you go, [Em] [Dm] [A]
[Am] [C#] [A] [Cm]
[Bm] [Am] [F#m]
[F#]
[F#m] [N]
feel of it,
but you can play like, like, you can play around with it and play like these little
things, you know, [Am] like, [F#m] [D]
[F#] [A]
[D]
[Am]
[E] [C] like,
[D] [F#m]
[Am] [F#m]
[N] but that's what I mean, like just all these different ways.
So how could you get bored?
I can't get enough.
I play more guitar playing rhythm than I would soloing.
You know, you make rhythm guitar so fun.
Like what's like some of that big band kind of stuff that you would.
Oh yeah, like that.
[A] [F#m]
[A] [F#m]
[Am] Now [N] see that, that kind of stuff though, you have to really focus on the rhythm and the
execution and where it sits.
Cause it will sound really weird if you, [Bm] so you gotta, it's really behind the [F#] beat, you
know, I think that's really listening.
You have to listen to like Count Basie, Louie Prima, you know, Louie Prima actually is a
really good person to listen to because most of that early [F] stuff doesn't have [N] guitar.
So you can kind of play along with it and try and get it, you know, get the feel, get
the rhythm of that.
What's a good song that The Wildest.
I mean like, jump driving well, I mean Brian Setzer, I mean, you know, that's Louie Prima
and Keely Smith were amazing.
You know, they're sitting there, got a jump swing, [D#] you know, old school.
T-Bone Walker is pretty much, you know, ground level.
I mean, you gotta listen.
You can just get the complete Imperial box set, you know, and it's pretty cheap actually online.
