Hi, this is Kimbra and you're watching Billboard.com.
[E]
The music that first resonated with me was that kind of [G] 90s R&B, soul, gospel and jazz.
[B] Then around the age of [E] 15, 16 I got introduced to Nine Inch Nails and Bjork, Miles Davis, [E] the Miles Volter,
[Eb] bands that really confused me [Bb] and challenged me and I wanted to know [Eb] why it made me so uncomfortable and excited
[Ab] and see if I could somehow blend some of [Gb] those ideas into my own world of [Ebm] pop music.
Fashion or [Bb] style does go hand in hand with the music.
It's an extension of the music.
[Bb] At the end of the day it's all just self [E]-expression.
Getting into certain dresses for me,
expressing myself in that way [G] helps me to get into a certain character to perform the songs as well.
It just keeps things fresh and exciting when you're on the [Gb] road for a long time to be able to mix up outfits on stage
and kind of embrace a bit of a world around the music.
[Ab] You're into us.
[Am] Into me.
[Ab] Into us.
Into you.
Into us.
We're into [Gb] both of us. Into us.
We're into [A] both of us.

We're into both of us.
[B] I wanna settle [E] down.
With you.
I wanna settle down.
[Ab] With you.
Won't you settle down with me?
Settle down.
[Gb]
Hey, [C] both of you.
Won't you [Ab] wine and dine with me?
Settle down.
[Gb] I wanna raise a [Am] child.
I wanna raise a [E] child.
Won't you raise a child with me?
[Am] Raise a child.
We'll call her Nebraska.
Nebraska Jones.
She'll have your love.
Just so you know.
We're into both of us.
[A] Into [Ab] us.
[B] We're into both of us.
Into us.
We're [Ab] into both of us.
Into [B] us.
We're into both of [Gb] us.
Into us.
We're into both of us. Into us.
We're into both of us.
We're into both of us. Into us.
I wanna [Ab] settle down.
[E] I wanna settle down.
Won't you settle down with me?
[Gb] Settle down.
Run from it.
Just because you're blue.
[G] So I renew.
Monday morning smoke to a kid [Gb] on Avenue.
She's got a fancy car.
She'll wanna take you high.
Price city lights and send me to the clouds.
[C] I'm so lost.
[Em] [F]
[Dm] I'm [C] so lost.
[Em] I'm so lost.

[F] You know I wanna settle down.
Yeah.
[Em] I wanna settle down.
Yeah.
[C] Baby, there's no need [F] to run.
[C] [F] My life is [G] worth so much more.
[Am] I wanna settle [E] down.
[Am] Yeah.
It's [Em] worth.
[F] Won't you come on?
Let's make our [G] own.
[E] Yeah.
We're both of us.
Hey.
We're both of [Ab] us.
Hey.
We're both of us.

[Ab] hi, [G] oh, oh, [Am] hi, oh, oh.
It's really exciting to have Vows out in America.
I think it's quite an iconic moment for a [D] New Zealand artist to [Am] release their music
[Abm] on the other side of the world and to have it [A] acknowledged on the charts is crazy as well.
I've lived with a lot of these songs since [Gb] the age of about 16 and started working on
the record at 17, 18, so it's very cathartic and freeing, liberating to know that the songs
become someone else's experience instead of let them [D] go.
[Gb] Really excited to be here on tour for a couple of months with Foster the People.
It'll be great to go to all the different cities around America.
I did a bit of that with Goethe-A, but it's a little more [Em] extensive this time.
After that [F] we're going to Switzerland to do the Montreux [B] Jazz Festival, then [Gb] playing in
Turkey, Istanbul, which is super exciting.
We're on the road until the end of the year pretty much, so I'm just kind of adjusting
myself to that new [A] routine.
I'm really excited to be sharing the songs with people in America one [Am]-on-one, as opposed
to just over [A] YouTube or the internet, actually bringing them face-to [B]-face and meeting everyone as well.
