I'm Kenny Greenberg, I'm a guitar player here in Nashville, Tennessee.
[A] I [Em] moved to Nashville when I was 20.
[G] I hung around, played in bars, and played in blues bands and [F#] country bands,
[E]
and slowly worked my way into the recording studio.
Faked my way in.
Acted like I sort of [G] knew what I was doing.
I grew up listening to Jimi Hendrix and Cream,
but I also really liked the blues.
I liked John Lee Hooker and the Three Kings,
B.B. Albert and Freddie, and Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac.
But then I also liked the early country players.
I liked Grady Martin.
I saw his [Gm] name on all these records that I really liked.
[Em] And I liked Roy Nichols.
Right about the time I quit college, I realized that I wanted to play guitar.
And this was Guitar Town, so I came here.
My first gig was at a place called the Silver Dollar Saloon,
which is where Douglas Corner is now.
And they had quarter beer night.
And me and a friend of [D] mine moved down here,
and we were staying at this other guy's house.
We didn't have any money at all.
We're listening to KDF, and they said,
Quarter Beer Night, that's the place for us.
And so we ended up getting a [Gm] weekly gig at the Silver Dollar [E] Saloon
for all the beer you could drink.
These days, I'm [Em] mostly working in the studios here in Nashville.
[B] [E] The level of technical facility that's at your disposal is [Em] very, very high.
And so everybody is always about trying to get the best [A] tone, the [Bm] best gear,
anything that [G] can get you from [E] point A to point B as fast as [B] possible.
Here's my experience with [C] the Asterobe cable.
It's really pretty simple.
[E]
I've never found [G] a big difference between cable sound until the Asterobe.
[Em] Plug my guitar straight into the amp with one of my cables.
[G] It sounded great.
Then we took an Asterobe cable [Em] and plugged it into the same amp, same guitar.
And the difference was really, really [Em] big.
And it's the first time that I've ever noticed
any kind of a [G] noticeable difference [D] with different [G] cables.
