Which one is mine?
[D]
[Dm] No!
They're all mine!
All my lady borders could be yours.
They never come through!
[B] I'm getting nervous.
You know, I get excited.
[Bb]
I'd be more nervous if [G] it was a Spurs gig actually.
Because they're a more [C] fragile band.
[Db] They're great at dropping things and picking them back up.
That's what they're [N] meant to do.
But it's far more nerve-wracking with the Spurs.
For some reason.
[F] [C] I'm [Bb] nervous.
I'm nervous.
[C]
[F] [Bb]

[Em]
I did it because there was nothing [Bb] else to do.
I [Em] never wanted to do a solo [Gb] album.
I [A] wanted to keep the Rolling [E] Stones together.
[N] And to me at the very beginning of this idea,
I was filled with a sense of failure.
Because the idea to me to make a solo record
meant I couldn't take my band together.
[D]
Musicians that he could mold into an actual band.
He knew exactly which people he wanted
and fortunately they were very much up for working with him.
The resulting collaboration has been successful
beyond Keith's wildest expectations.
To me,
[E]
[G] one great band or group [Bm] band in a lifetime,
that's already a miracle.
I mean, to find [E] two.
[Bm] You know?
And the only thing I found out about myself
at least, [B] I guess it's taught me to find out a little bit [Ab] more about me.
Is that I do have a certain ability to [Gb] put the right,
if I can find the right bunch of guys to put them together
[G] and give me ten days and they'll sound like they've been together two years.
[D]
[G]
A key slot to be filled in the new group was that of second guitarist.
A position previously held in the Rolling Stones
by [C] Brian Jones, then Mick Taylor, [G] and most recently Ronnie Wood.
For his new [D] band, Keith called on session vet Waddy Wachtell,
a [G] hard rock enthusiast best known, ironically,
[N] for his work on the laid back L.A. studio scene.
I called him on the,
when [Gm] the frustrating disease,
you know, he used to run bands for Linda Runset, Stevie Nicks,
and [Bm] not without appearing a [N] chauvinist pig.
Not without appearing a chauvinist pig.
[G]
A guy, you know, [Ab] just to play with a bunch of guys for a change
instead of like, where are [N] my panties?
You know, it was, I think, you know,
and I caught Waddy right on the rim of that cusp and he was ready to [D] rock.
I'm a [G] singer.
[D] [G]
I heard you.
The demo tape.
[B] The singer's eyes.
[G]
And I get to play on this now?
Okay, [D] well, I'm sure you're not going to play one of these songs.
For [A] Youngblood, Richards brought in [Dm] keyboardist Ivan Neville,
the son of Aaron Neville of New Orleans celebrated Neville Brothers,
one of Keith's all-time favorite [G] groups.
Although Richard's not a fan of the band,
even though he has his own album out,
Ivan was delighted [C] to be picked to take part in Keith's project.

We've [E] known each other for years, one way or another.
[G] Nobody's actually sort of walked in.

You [Gb] know, it was like, carefully,
[B] that's why it took me two years to put this record together
before I even started recording it.
Who am I going to play with?
[E] I don't know, Charlie Watts.
After 25 [N] years of the show.
Ooh, that's a tough one, you know?
For a musician, you know, he's playing with [Ab] one cat for 20-odd years.
