I've already cried looking at a parking sign, so that's a first for me.
Today [A] feels like a lot of hard work, like paying [Bm] off, and sometimes in the music industry they're [G] not so tangible.
It's a lot more, you know, little tiny successes, [A] but this one feels like a really big one and [Bm] I'm really pumped.
We pulled up today [G] to the artist's entrance.
They give you a parking sign for your debut.
It says, reserve [A] parking for Kaylee Shore, Opry debut March [Bm] 31st.
Coming up and seeing that sign, I [G] immediately burst out crying.
Oh damn it, I didn't even make it inside before I started crying.
[A] _ It's going to be a really [Bm] long night.

[G] So when I first got the call that I was playing the Opry, I immediately called my [A] mom, getting to be like,
Hey mom, what are you doing March [Bm] 31st?
She's like, oh nothing, I'm like, do you want to come [G] see me play the Opry?
Do you want to come to Nashville and see me make my Grand Ole [A] Opry debut? _ _
[F#m] Yeah.
Yeah.
[G] I just found out. _
_ _ _ _ [A] _ _ She [Bm] knows how much I've wanted to do this for so, so [G] long.

It's time!
_ [D] _ [A] They put us into the [Bm] circle dressing room, which is where everybody who's making [G] their Opry debut gets to go.
It's so pretty.
[A] And there's a lot of quotes and photos of people [Bm] when they're making their Opry debut.
There's [G] a really cool photo of Taylor Swift [G] and a lot of cool quotes.
The one that really struck [A] me was Lori Morgan when she made her [Bm] debut saying,
I realize I'm going to get to do [G] this for the rest of my life. _ _

She's going to bring me a chair because I'm just going to hang out here.
_ _ [A] _ _ We're about to go [Bm] rehearse with the Opry band.
I'm so excited.
They're some [G] of the best musicians in country music.

The Opry [Bm] band is obviously some of [G] the best musicians you'll ever find in the world in country music, period.
And getting [A] to rehearse with them was so awesome.

So Jeannie Seely is a little [Bm] firecracker and she was my [G] first choice for introducing me and she was really excited about it.
She's all about girl power [A] and she gave me some really great advice and just [B] gave me the coolest Opry introduction I [G] could have asked for.
She was the first woman to ever wear a miniskirt on the Opry and so I was like, I like you, we're going to get along just fine.
