Kala Ukulele - Solid Acacia Series chords
Start Jamming...
All right, we have the Kala solid Acacia series.
This is a new offering.
This one here is the tenor.
[G] First thing you may notice is it's got a
slotted headstock.
[F#] So that's the
real feature on this instrument besides its lovely sound, is that slotted headstock.
Again, we have the multi-layered wood here that
is exposed [N] on the inside of the slot here on the outer edges of the headstock as well and
the Kala logo there, that's rosewood showing through to reveal that logo.
This one has these vintage
Grover machine [Bm] heads.
Real cool feature [N] there.
It's also got a ebony nut and [G#] saddle
and has kind of these unique [D#] position markers here.
We've added a few extra at [F#] the third, fifth, seventh, tenth, twelfth, and fifteenth frets.
And this is
solid wood here trimmed with this
really cool herringbone pattern and then it's got the
dark rosewood trim binding on the sides as well.
This tenor really features a nice [A#] piece of Acacia on the back there.
You can see that blonde streak through the middle there.
Acacia is from the same [F#] family of Koa.
Koa is an Acacia.
This Acacia
is [G#] from Taiwan, I believe.
There's a lot of ukes on the market being called [F#] Koa.
They're actually Acacia.
[G#] These are Acacia and we'll call them Acacia.
Nice little feature here is just this little [B] ebony heel cap and
[C] again, [Am]
it's [C] a real nice
warm sound.
[D] [C]
[G] [C]
[G] [C] Kala Acacia [F#] series.
This comes in a soprano,
concert,
a tenor with a slotted headstock, and a baritone.
All right, check them out.
