[G] [F] Hey there, this is Ben Blakey from George's Music and I'm here to show you today the Kala
Acacia Wood, all solid Acacia Wood Ukulele.
Now I've got the tenor version here, but it comes in soprano and concert as well, and
they do have some [Eb] minor differences.
I'll tell you about those later.
This is the Acacia Wood Ukulele and Acacia Wood is sometimes called Mimosa or the Shower Tree.
It's kind of a cousin of Koa, which is used to make a lot of fine instruments throughout
the world as well.
And if you'll [D] notice here, as I strum a little bit for you, it's got a very warm tone.
It sounds as beautiful as it looks, [G] to be honest with
[F] [C]
[Am] [G]
[C] you.
[N] Anyway, it's got a rosewood edge binding around the side here, and a herringbone perf length
[F] on top of that, and also there's herringbone around the rosette here.
And it's got a rosewood fretboard with, you'll notice, these beautiful custom inlays as the
fret markers, and all the models have that, as well as ebony nut and saddle.
And [C] the big difference is that you'll find between the concert and the tenor and the
soprano are going to be on the headstock.
And notice this is the tenor version, has the slotted [N] headstock and geared tuners.
The soprano version has friction tuners, so that's going to be a slightly different feel
to it, and they'll have the [D] solid, the concert and the soprano both have the solid headstock.
Again, this is the Acacia Wood, all Acacia, solid Acacia Wood Ukulele from Cowlett, and
we've got them at George's Music online and in the store.
So come by and check them out.
