Our group Melbourne Bieber Team started in 2011.
[G#] We decided to [C#m] incorporate charity work into what we do.
And so we started adding other Bieber fans from Melbourne.
[G#m] We just got this amazing [C#m] group going.
And yes, we do raise lots of money for Justin's favourite charity.
[G#] He does a tremendous amount.
He [C#m] meets with a make a wish kid every show and we don't publicise it.
We just announced a campaign for the Philippines to raise money.
He builds schools in third world countries.
And when moments like this come up with Kate, it's [C#] never a, you know, how [C#m] do we do this?
It's when do we do this?
[G#] My two best friends and I and a [F#m] whole heap of other friends from our school were all going [G#] camping to celebrate finishing uni.
So we were just driving along, went to overtake a truck and obviously he just didn't see us.
We weren't able [Bm] to get in front of the truck.
[G#] And another car started coming towards us.
So we swerved off [Bm] the road and hit a tree at 100 kilometres an hour.
I knew the boys were following behind us, but I just felt like we were so [A] alone.
And I was just screaming like for someone to help get me [Bm] out of the car.
I jumped out and straight [F#m] over the barrier.
I knew she had to be flat on her back [Bm] whether she felt fine or not.
Then [F#m] Nathan opened the door for me and like helped [Bm] take me out and lay me on the ground and just keep me [F#m] awake.
[G#] Yeah, by talking about Justin.
[F#m] I said, so when you first seen Justin Bieber and a girl that had been in a car crash in [G] pain smiled.
[G#] She was so happy to talk about Justin Bieber.
You know, we heard she had an awful car accident [Bm] and then to hear that her friend, you know, kept her awake by talking about Justin and keeping her calm.
I told Justin that he was moved and he said, you know, let's do something for her.
The list of injuries [Bm] that I suffered was three fractures in my [F#m] spine, four broken ribs.
I had a collapsed [Bm] lung, lacerations to my kidney and liver, which caused [F#m] internal bleeding and [G#] lacerations to my stomach [G#] and hips from the seatbelt.
The Melbourne Bieber team, as soon as they found out that I wouldn't be able to see Justin, they started a Twitter campaign called Justin Visit Kate.
And then within 24 hours, one of my friends, [G] Emily Layden, had made this like amazing video where everyone put in pictures and [A#] stuff.
Holding signs saying Justin Visit [Bm] Kate.
When we first [F#] arrived to Brisbane, you know, the fans will come [C#] up and be like, Dan, [Bm] Fredo, can we get a picture?
Can we get a picture?
I'm like, yeah, sure.
[F#m] And then they'll just be like, can you hold [G#] up my friend Kate's picture?
You know, I would be in a coffee shop and someone would come up and the first thing they would say is, you know, does Justin know about Kate?
Does Justin know about [Em] Kate?
We knew about her right away [E] and I was actually trying to keep it a secret that we knew about her.
And we had talked about doing an acoustic show in the next couple of months, something small and intimate.
And I [B] thought, what better [E] way to do it than to put on an acoustic show for Kate?
Give her something small that she [F#] could either attend or maybe we just go to the hospital and do it for her there.
[E] And Justin loved the idea.
_ [A] When I got taken into like the studio where I'd [C#m] see Justin perform, just seeing the stage and how small there was [E] and how close all the seats were, how close I got to sit to the stage.
It was just so crazy, like [A] knowing that he would be there and be so close to me and I just [C#m] couldn't stop crying.
And I hadn't even seen him yet.
I just can't [G#m] believe I'm going to see him.
[E] Not only is it a special show because it's a special show for Kate, I think it's for all of the [C#] Beliebers out there.
They'd love to see him this way.
[B] The room is beautiful.
You know, it couldn't be set up any better.
I love [E] the hanging lights.
It sounds great on stage.

[C#m] _ _ When [A] Justin came out, he walked out of this door and it was really [Em] dark and like I knew it was him because I [E] just, I think I could spot him from a mile away.
[C#m] But yeah, it was just so crazy.
Like I didn't feel like he was [E] real at all.
Like he couldn't be that close to me.
And then he walked on stage and he was like just looking around [A] and he was in the light and I saw all his tattoos and [C#] he was like a real person standing in front of me and it was so crazy.
Kate, you want to be my one last only girl?
[B] _ _ Justin singing One Last Only Girl to me is [E] like a dream come true.
It's been a [B] tradition on his first tour and his current tour.
And so he takes a girl [E] on stage every night and sings it to her.
How many I told you to start over to show that you had it.
I guess it's everyone's impossible dream.
They all wish for it, but never think it will happen to them.
There's gonna be [E] one last lonely [B] girl.

Like he was touching my face [B] and holding my [E] hand and kissing my hand and he was just so close to me and oh it was so amazing.
He was looking me in the eyes.
It was definitely the best moment of my whole life.
You know what was really nice about the whole Kate situation is that she wasn't [C#m] asking.
She was in the hospital and she was [E] heartbroken.
And it was all the other fans that she had helped over the years.
All around the world stepping up and saying do something, get him to the [C#m] hospital.
She deserves it.
And I would read her Twitter and it was [F#] such a selfless [E] point of view of oh thank you guys so much.
It's highly unlikely, but it's so nice of you guys.
It's keeping me strong in the hospital.
[C#m] And you could tell that this girl even you know [E] not through social media when we finally met her.
She was so kind and warm and even sitting in that wheelchair recovering.

She [E] was thinking about the other fans and didn't want to be the center of attention.
[F#m] And that's the kind of people that you want to give back to.
[E] And I think yeah, did it warm my heart?
It made my day, it made my year.
I can tell you that Justin and Alfredo and Dan and you know John, everybody who [C#] was there yesterday, Scrappy.
We were all texting each other last [E] night saying that was the best day ever because [G] of Kate. _
