And so when I was in college, I decided to sort of put a couple of my favorite things together.
You know, my favorite hymn, which talks about God's incredible grace,
and then just the act of playing guitar sort of put those two things together,
and I kind of started working on a rendition, an instrumental version, of Amazing Grace.
And it's kind of evolved as the years have gone on.
It's kind of different every time I do it.
I try to throw in a few things here and there just to keep it different a little bit, sort of provide some fun.
So the way I do this one, I use what's called a loop pedal, and it's on the floor.
And what I do is I step on these pedals, and it records what I'm playing.
And my guitar actually, what you heard right there, is not supposed to be there.
In fact, I'm going to have to turn that down before I get going.
But it records my guitar, and then it starts to play back what I just played.
And then I can add another layer on top of that, and then it will play that one back,
and I [C#] can add another layer.
And you can kind of keep going as long as you want to.
Wow.
And it loops the music, which is why it's called a loop pedal.
I like it.
Well, let's get into it.
