Welcome to my unboxing with Josh Groban.
[A#m] Whoa!
I've got my stage-to-stage [B] coffee table book that comes just [C#] upon first glance and feel.
It [F#] comes in this wonderful fabric [A#m] gray box, which is [G#m] always nice.
I like a book in a box.
So [F#] I open it now and [D#] oh, what have we got in here?
Surprise.
[A#m] Not the book, not yet.
[B] Inside this charming [A#m] envelope.
And you'll [F#] notice right off the bat, a [A#m] signed print.
I signed [B] these.
These are real.
I [C#] sat on the floor and I lost [F#] feeling in my legs signing hundreds [A#m] of these for you.
[B] Some of them were licked by [C#] my dog.
I [F#] won't tell you which ones, but just follow your nose.
[A#m] And then [B] inside here, there's other ones that aren't [C#] signed, but are
[A#m] of me.
[D#m] Some of them are funny.
Some of them are [G#m] contemplative.
Some of them I'm playing with [C#] my dog.
Some of them [F#] are just drawings of me.
We continue.
[B]
[E] We take out [C#] the book itself,
[F#] which is so [A#m] nice.
Stage-to [B]-stage.
Inside is just [A#m] endless memories [F#] and photographs from the last three years of recording.
[A#m] Oh, and this is amazing.
[G#m] My dear friend and composer Dave Malloy [A#m] wrote this wonderful poem, and it's very [F#] beautiful.
And I was so honored and touched by his words.
[A#m] So many pictures from fans [Bm] in here.
There's a lot of pictures that we [E] were able to get from all [A] of you.
We played softball, lots of [C#m] behind-the-scenes shots of kind of some [D] weird, cool, fun, silly things that we did while we were on the [E] road.
Tons and tons of never [A]-before-seen [C#m] stuff that [A] happened in making the TV special and [D] the album and the tour.
You [E] know, I've never done anything like [A] this before.
So after weeks, after months, after [C#m] years of experiencing everything [D] that's in this book,
to hold it in my hands is amazing.
[C#m] I'm sure you're going to love it.
[A] It's out now.
[A] And [C#m] thank you for helping me [D] create these memories.
