06.15.1 Call to ask everybody this morning. It's a blessing for me to be here. Always a blessing to be in the house of God. And I thank the pastor for having me and my cousin Gabe for inviting me. And like the pastor said, I stole his suit. And this is a traditional mariachi suit. And that's just a wonderful thing about being a child of God is that your family is not limited to your ethnicity. You have brothers and sisters that are black, white, brown, and purple. I don't know if there's purple out there, but I'm sure somewhere there's purple people too. And if they believe in the Lord, they're your brothers and sisters. Amen. And this song is called Agra de Cimiento. This song was written by my grandfather over 40 years ago. And it came out of a miracle that God did in my grandmother's life. She was sick and the doctor sent her home. And they said, we don't have a remedy for her. And there came a point where she just said she felt like she was going to die and go with the Lord that night. And my grandfather was a stubborn man. He's a pastor. And he said he called my dad and my aunt. He said, we're going to pray for your mom one more time and believe that in Jesus' name she's going to be healed. And when they laid their hands on her, that last prayer that they made, they had been praying for months, but that particular prayer, she got up and began to worship the Lord all night long, completely healed. Amen. And so they went to the piano and began to sing this song. It just came directly from the Holy Spirit. They just started playing it and singing it in that moment. It was called Gratitude because there's so many things that God has done for us. And the greatest thing is he's given us salvation. Amen. And that's why we're grateful this morning. So the song is for you. I pray it's a blessing for you this morning. [E] [Am]
[E] Gracias, Señor, porque muchas son las [Am] cosas que tú me has dado en esta vida, Señor. [E] So many things you've given me this morning. [A] [B] [E] [C#m] [F#m] [B]
[E] [Am]
[Am] [D] This song says, [G] thank you, Lord, for the things that you've done in my life, [B] for the things that you are doing, and [G] for the things that you will do. Amen. How many believe that [Dm] this morning? Hallelujah. [G] So next song says, [C] the trials [B] you placed in my way, instead of being [Em] for my defeat, they've been blessings. The trials you have placed, [B] when trials in my [Em] way, have been my greatest blessings, oh, instead of [Dm] my [E] defeat. [Am] Oh, and never for one moment [A] have [Em] you ever [B] left me all [Em] alone. Your [C#] hand has been my [B] shelter, my guide, my [Em] sustenance. [B] [F#m] Allow [Em] me now to render, oh, my [Am] heart, my life to serve [Em] you. For deep within my soul, ever [Bm] present will [E] these [Am] be. Oh, your love and tender mercies, and your everlasting [Em] faithfulness. And although [B] so undeserving, oh, you've given all [E] to [G#] me. [A] [B] [E] Oh, [G#m] gratitude, yes, [E] thankfulness, [A] is [G#m] flowing [Gm] from my [F#m] heart, my [B] heart. Oh, a song of [F#m] sweet happiness, [B] I [G#m] lift up [E] with my voice, so many other things, oh, [Bm] which my Lord [Am] has given to me. [A#] Oh, yes, this [G#m] is the reason why, [C#m] oh, the reason why, [F#m] oh, I serve [B] you [E] with my [G#] life. [D] [B] [E] Amen,
