Johnny Orlando & Mackenzie Ziegler Get Real About Escaping The #Friendzone chords
Start Jamming...
If you're a dude, go for it, man.
But it's easier for guys.
You probably know.
No way!
I do know.
When a girl's like, hey, I really like you, it's like, oh my god.
Oh my god.
Wow.
[Gb] [Db]
[Bbm] [Ab] Hi guys, it's Jelena with [C] QMusic, and I'm here with Johnny Orlando and Mackenzie Ziegler.
Hi guys!
Good, [F] how are you?
Good, I'm good, thank you.
So can you tell [Db] us how you met?
[F] We met at a kind of sketchy studio in [G] North Hollywood.
It was called The Jungle Room.
[Ebm] But yeah, our producer set it up, it [Db] was super awkward.
But we ended up seeing [Bb] each other at the Kids' Choice Awards later that month,
and that's when we actually started talking and became friends.
Yeah, cool, awesome.
I know you guys have so many followers.
Wherever you go in the world, there's a thousand fans waiting for you guys,
and they want to meet you.
But what is the coolest experience with a [G] fan that sticks out in your mind?
Is there one, or is there a couple that you guys want to chat about?
There's about 2,000.
[Eb] I was in Barcelona for Christmas and New Year's and stuff,
and we were like, oh, we should have a meet-up.
We're in the stain, we don't know how many people are going to come,
but it would just be really cool.
People would tell their friends, and maybe their friends would come,
even if they don't really know [Gb] who I was.
[Db] And we showed up the next [Gb] day.
There were people outside of our house, probably 200 people,
waiting [Db] outside of the little apartment [Eb] we were staying in.
So we're like, [Gb] okay, [Db] so this is how it's [Ab] going to go.
And then they were like, you really should not go over there.
It's really bad.
We [C] did it at these fountains.
[Dbm] You should not go over there.
You're going to get [F] just swarmed.
[Db] And [Bbm] police showed up, [Abm] and there was a thousand
A bunch of people there.
[F] It was insane.
We turned the corner, [Bbm] and there was just a wall of girls.
It was insane.
[A] You were probably in your glory.
[N] Yeah.
Mine was actually
I went on a dance tour when
I think it was last year in [G] Australia.
And in Australia, it's a very big dance [Bb] community.
Oh, okay.
And so [E] we taught dance [Db] classes.
And so my sister and I were on stage,
and [Bb] there was about a thousand or more people there.
And [Db] my sister was crowd [F] surfing on the floor.
And is there a video of this?
I need to watch.
I hope there is, but it was literally
It was so [Ab] fun.
And then I [B] jumped in, but I didn't really make it.
So [Bb] next time. Next time?
Yeah, they were all holding Maddie up.
And I was like, oh, okay.
Ouch.
[Bb] [Gb]
So [Fm] since the song is called
[Bb] The song is called What If?
And it's about telling a crush that you're into them,
but being a little bit nervous about that.
What advice would you give somebody that's in that [Eb] situation?
Would you say, go for it and risk it all?
[E] Or would you say, no, your friendship is too [Bb] valuable?
Just be calm.
I would say [Ab] go for it.
You never really know.
Because what if?
Right, what if?
If you're a dude, go for it, [Eb] man.
I feel like girls are more scared in this situation.
Yeah, well, I feel like usually [Bb] it's a dude that's like, hey, I like you.
Yeah.
[Ab] But it's easier for guys.
[Db] You probably know.
No way.
I do know.
When a girl's like, hey, I like you, it's like, oh my god.
Oh yeah, [Bbm] wow.
Trust me.
There you go, guys.
But the guys always [Db] make the first move.
[C] Thanks for chatting, guys.
This has been great.
Thank you [Gb] so much.
Thank you so much.
