[Bm] Yeah!
[A] [E]
I like that!
[Bm] Thanks!
[A] [E]
[Bm] [A] We're [Em] in my hometown of Settle, [F#]
in the North Yorkshire Dales.
It's just something everyone wants to do, the [B] homecoming gig, and when you get an opportunity
to come to like a little kind of hall like this in [E] a very quiet little town and tear
it up, I think [F#] that's more of a reason to do a hometown coming gig than if we were to
live in a big [D#] city or anything like that.
[E] I'm just by myself.
It's me, please leave me [A#] alone.
You [Bm] know I know.
[A] [E] [Bm]
[A] [E] I'm with friends and family attending, it's kind of like that nerve-wracking thing of
an intense atmosphere [G#m] where it's a little bit like if you're at Christmas dinner and
[Gm] your mum turns around [C#] and says, oh get your guitar out and play a tune for everyone, it's
like, [E] it's really nerve-wracking.
I think it's always easier to perform in front of a lot of people [F#] and not your friends and
not your family because they know you too well so [F] you can't go into your stage [G] alter-ego.
In terms of the ones we've done before, yeah we've [E] stepped it up and we're going out full
out, [F#] but like, this is the [Em] plan now, this is what we're going [F] to do for the future,
so I think that's why it's also a big gig for me [A] because it's the first time we've kind
[C] of come together and we've done a production day and we've really spent time [F] focusing it
in on the lighting and on the stage.
I think it's the thing that, [Am] kind of like, [C] I don't know, to go on and do this, everyone
else is amazing and it's nice to think that we've started doing that [F] in Settle.

We've never been in [C] such a small town, I was saying, yeah, I was saying that [A] like, I used
to do gigs in the Tile bit of this pub up there and the reason I do it there on a [F] Friday
night is because people [D] say, how many people do you get to gig?
You could [Am] count all the
general punters that were drinking [C] to come to your gig and I think this place as a kid
was like, [F] [G#] not a dream, I hate saying that, but like, [F] it was the big thing, [C] if you could
do that, that'd be really cool.
[G] [Am] [F]
[C] This is an opportunity, it's an opportunity to come [G] home and perform to my friends and
my family and [Am] perform to everyone that doubted me or not doubted me [F] or anything like that
and I think it's [C] a great opportunity for me and I'm going to see my whole job as an [G] opportunity
and that's why [Am] I make sure I get everything right and I [D] spend hours on it and I [F] stay up
to a ridiculous time at night and [C] I go a little bit insane because it's all worth [G] it, I mean,
to the gig tonight [A] I'm going to feel great because 99 [E].9% preparation, 1 [G]% performance
and I'm going to feel [B] great.
[C] It's a small [A] place where everyone can be forward to and come in here.
We're talking about their work and everyone's been talking about their school [A] today as well.
I love all of them but I can't stop singing [B] Cheating, the new one, it's been in my head
for the last few days.
[Bm] [A] I
[G] need some more now, [Bm] more now, [A] can you love me again?
[Em]
[G] I need some more now, [Bm] more now, [A] can you love me again?
I need [G] some more [Bm] now, [A] more now, can you love me again?
[Em]
[G] I need some more now, [Bm] [A] more now, can you love me again?
I need some more now.
It's going to be good [F] to get on the road I think because it's going to be so nice to
[D#] kind of go back to them places that I've gone [F] and promoted there and they've said,
[F#] here's our return for you coming to do that and then I kind of need to go back and tour
and say thank you and it's the other thing of taking the show on the road and getting
into that routine of touring which I think every musician looks forward [G#] to because it
is like go out and see the [C#] reaction to your music which feels incredible [C] and get to do
the amazing things every night [Em] and yeah, it's going to be good.
