JOHN BROWNE | MONUMENTS - Vanta (Playthrough) with Hughes & Kettner Black Spirit 200 chords

[E] [D#]
[E]
Hey everyone, Brown here.
Welcome to my YouTube channel and [F] welcome to my newly decorated
studio.
I know that the last video I did was a studio tour update for 2019 but when I was
away in Australia on tour, my girlfriend [C#m] decided to paint and decorate my room.
She did a really,
really great job of it and from [E] that I decided to recover my panels behind me and over there
in a different fabric to go with the vibe of the room as I wasn't [C#] really feeling the
red.
Anyway, enough of that.
This is not what this video is about.
[F#] So today I'm going to be
doing [C#] a playthrough of Banter [F] which is on the latest Monuments record for [C#] Nisus and if you
haven't checked it out, you can check it out in the link in the description below.
And this is a
very [N] special one because I'm going to be doing it on my brand new Mayones Devel Cat C [C#] 2.0.
[C#m]
[A#] So
here she [E] is.
In terms of the specs, it's very [D#] similar to the Cat C 1.0. We went for the tonally
enhanced ash back [C#m] body except this one has been stained in antique.
[D#] It has a quilted maple [C#] top
stained in a color that [C#m] is currently not named.
A five-piece [D#] wenge and purple heart net which was
originally wenge and bubinga but bubinga got put on the city's regulations for transporting wood
[C#] overseas so it made it all pain in the ass.
[F] Ebony fretboard, jumbo frets, [C#] the pickups are
burnable, [F] ceramic nail bomb in the bridge, cold sweat in the neck, shower hanners bridge, custom
silver [G#] Monuments knob with the wenge [E] on the side and the main difference really is [D#] the matching
headstock.
But this guitar [E] isn't actually going to be mine, [F#] it's actually going to be one of yours
[G#] and if you want to find out how to win it then subscribe [F#] to my YouTube and then keep an eye out
my videos and I'll let you know in a couple of weeks.
[G#] So I'm going to be playing this guitar
[E] through [F#] a brand new Huson Kettner Black [C] Spirit 200 [C#m] head which sounds phenomenal to me.
[F] That'll be
going through a Mesa 4x12 cab, miced with an SE Electronics Voodoo VR1 ribbon mic which goes into
a Stam Audio 1073 preamp [C#m] and then that goes into Cubase through a Zoom UAC-8.
[D#] To hear the playback
I'm going to be using my Rhynes custom in-ear [E] moles, the Stage 7's which [D#] have seven drivers
per ear.
They sound phenomenal and it's great for stuff like [C#m] this, it's also good for my in-ears on tour.
[D#] Anyway that's enough from me, this is the playthrough of Vanta.
If you want to learn how to play this
song [F] then you can grab the tabs from the Monuments online web store and you can find the link in the description [E] below.
