He's one of the founding members of the hip hop boy band Brockhampton.

Russell Boring, Joba is a 24 year old artist, producer, and engineer from Houston, Texas.
_ After listening to him sing the chorus to their track Face, a few things come to mind.
_ His [G] falsetto here is vulnerable, raw, and very pretty.
_ However, the thing about Brockhampton,
and specifically Joba, is that one kind of sound and emotion can vastly change from track to track.

emotion to emotion, only using their voice.

Something you wouldn't hear from anyone else. _
So let's take a little review
of some of Joba's most iconic moments in music thus far.
_ This is the definition of variety.
He's
musical jack of all trades that sounds just as comfortable singing an emotional ballad as he does
angrily screaming at the top of his lungs, or rapping about in sync in ramen noodles.
In a
group full of distinct, talented [Dm] individuals, Joba is still somehow the clearest wildcard of the bunch.
_ In a world full of people who constantly do the same kind of things, I think it's important [Ab] to
recognize those that [E] make their own paths.
_ Labeling Joba as either a singer or a rapper
would be harsh because he's so much more than that.
His versatility with all things music, let
alone art, is inspiring to [F] watch.
Seeing him perform live, [G] reading his tweets, you can see how much all
of this means to him.
To close out this video, it really only feels right to do something very [D] weird,
authentic, passionate, and all-around Joba-like.
