I'm a guitar player here on YouTube and speaking of guitars.
I have something rather rather special in my opinion now
I've been on the record for [C#] saying that I want to collect [F#] all the Jim Roo guitars, and this [B] is one of
_ [F#] Technically two guitars that I have to get but really three with the new one coming out in [D] 2020 spoiler alert
This [F#] isn't the new one the new Jazzmaster.
I'll get that one soon.
I promise [B] so this guitar came under my radar
It [Bm] was always on my radar, but it really spiked and piqued my interest
[F#] This past summer when I had the opportunity the absolute honor and privilege of hanging out with Jim [D#] Root, and he said this
That's why we have a Squire _
Telly which actually I need to get one of [A#] those I want to try to get one of those
[E] I want to play one of my Squires live because I got so they sent me a production sample of the Squire before it came
Out and I loved it.
Even the pickups that are in it were great and it's you know
What is it like [F] a $500 guitar if that for yeah?
[G] I mean I could I could put my strings on that guitar and play it live
[F#] Which I want to do just to like prove a point
And then long story short fast-forward to [B] Black Friday aka cyber Monday [F#] aka the time when you [F#m] spend all of your money
Weekend here in the United States.
[D] I saved up all my [F#m] pretty pennies and my musicians friend
Reward-points and I got this guitar for you guys and [F#] without further ado.
I'm [Bm] really really excited to open it.

This is a Jim root Squire.
I hope it's a Jim root Squire Telecaster

[F#] I was trying to think of something funny to say I couldn't come up with a

[F#] Let's get to the actual guitar

[Bm] Right, ladies and gentlemen moment of [Am] truth finally [D] I finally finally [G] finally got one

_ _ [A] _ ladies and gentlemen, [D] we have a Jim [G] root Squire Telecaster here in the studio and
[D] honestly upon [B] first feel
Yeah, for real.
It does not feel [G] that much different [D] than the Mexican made Jim root Telecaster.
Wow.
Wait a minute
I'm gonna grab my Mexican Telecaster real quick.
There's something going on here.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, okay
So now I'll cover more of this in a future video, but I do want to show you guys something
So here's the Mexican one [F#] and here is the Squire one, right the Chinese one if you will now
I don't want to ding this thing up too bad already
But I don't know if you can see a sail thin this body is and now take a look at this [F#m] body
Much thicker.
This one's harder to see because it is in fact [F#] black
But I think you guys can see that like this body shape the black one.
That is the Squire so much thinner
But yeah guys, this thing is really cool
And again, I wanted to get one of these ever since Jim said hey
I want to get one of [F] my Squires on stage so I could use it on stage and I've never really been into Squires
I've always [G#] been one to try to get as much as I can for you know, bang for my buck
I've always been one to [C#] try to invest in the actual real deal, [D#] but
This [D] thing again upon first feel okay, it is out of tune sure whatever
[C#] _ But just the feel of it feels [E] almost identical to my Mexican [Dm] Telecaster and that is a [D#] great sign
That is a really promising and honestly a really exciting thing for me
So guys be on the lookout [F#m] for this guitar in the near future
I can't wait to put my strings on it tune it down to drop B [F#] and get this thing sounding [G] as good or if not
Better possibly than the [E] Mexican guitar.
That'd be really cool.
If [F#] this thing sounded actually a little bit better
