[F#m] I grew up [A] singing from the time I [D] was four or five years old.
[A] My mom and my dad got me started in music, so [D] we sang together as a family for many,
many years.
[A] Dad was [D] pastoring and [A] he pastored the church where I'm at now for 25 years.
[D] I've been the senior [B] pastor now for six [A] years there.
[D] I sing here and play bass at Presley's [Bm] and just got a busy [D] life, but I love what I do.
We were picking out [B] songs for the TV [F#m] show.
I wanted to sing a [Bm] song that was written by a friend of ours.
[D] We came up to do this song.
[G] I was telling Tim [A] about how this song came about.
He said, man, you've got to let the people [D] see how that song came about.
You ought to get your [A] dad to tell that.
[G] That's how this came [D] about.
I'm glad to have my dad with me today, Jerry Haynes.
[F#m] We got him here to tell a little bit about [D] that story.
The story is the Lord had touched some [A] people in Union City, [D] Tennessee.
In fact, we had had [Bm] one or two [F#m] to walk out of the hospital that they said would never [D] get out.
That [B] got out on a [D] radio broadcast.
In Jackson, Tennessee, there was a couple in their [Bm]
forties.
[F#m] He worked for the [D] railroad and his wife had [F#m] stage four cancer [Bm] [D] and just a few days to live.
[G] Well, he had heard that broadcast.
[A] [F#m] He calls me and he says, [D] preacher, I hear you heal people.
I said, no, sir, not [F#m] me, but if you'll come to my house, I know a [A] man who can.
[D] I'll tell you about him.
[F#m] They came.
[A] We spent some [D] time with them talking about the word.
[F#m] Of course, faith comes by [G] hearing, hearing by the [D] word of God.
[F#m] They received that faith.
It's a faith to be healed.
[D] We prayed [Bm] together and [A] she received her healing.
[D] A few [B] weeks after that, I was in [F#m] revival over in Gideon, Missouri.
[D] That's the home of Jack Camel, [Bm] the famous songwriter [F#m] for many songs.
[D] Jesus is using me.
Of course, [Bm] this one, I know a man who [D] can.
What a happy day.
[E] Songs of Rambos did.
But [A] anyway, he's a tremendous friend of ours too.
[G] He was [D] in the service that night.
In the [A] service, I told about, [D] because I don't remember exactly the message that [F#] I preached
on, but anyway, [A] I brought about the healing [D] and the power of God that is able to heal.
[A]
I told a little [D] bit about this [F#m] testimony of this couple in Jackson, Tennessee.
Jack Camel takes out [D] his pen and he writes down [Bm] these words, I [A] know a man who [D] can.
I think he [Bm] had most of it written [F#m] that night before we [D] left.
[F#m] That [B] was the [D] beginning of it.
We were one [Em] of the first [F#m] to record it.
That's years ago.
[D] The famous legend George Jones recorded it.
That was good to know.
The power of [Bm] that [G] song [F#] not only heals [D] physically, but it heals emotionally.
It heals [F#] [D] spirit, soul, and body.
That's the power of [F#] I know a man who can.
[Am] I'm glad you guys are doing it and I can't wait to hear it.

[C] But I know a man [F] who can.
[A#] [Am] [A#] Some call him savior, [F] the redeemer of all men.
