Hi there, this is Dan from Chicago Music Exchange.
Today we're showcasing this beautiful Gibson Jeff Tweedy SG.
This guitar is based on an early 60's SG, comes with the beautiful Maestro Vibrola,
dual Burst Bucker pickups, plays and sounds like a dream.
The Jeff Tweedy SG features a mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, a satin finish neck, Maestro
Vibrola, two underwound Burst Bucker pickups meant to sound like the original PAFs, and
a beautiful engraved Tweedy truss rod cover.
When Gibson approached Jeff Tweedy about designing a signature guitar, he decided to model it
after a 61 SG, but gave it the look of his early 60's Melody Maker, with the blue finish
and the white pickguard.
Originally the color was planned to be Pelham Blue, but as they were designing it, they
came up with a slightly darker shade that they're calling Blue Mist.
Another great feature of this guitar is its satin finish neck.
It's very unique to SGs, there are not very many that have the satin finish neck.
It totally rounds out this guitar, gives it excellent playability, and it just looks amazing.
Alright, let's play a couple songs.
