[F#m] We were sitting on the [A] bed, cross-legged in your head, and you were talking to me so [C#m]
slow, so slow
[B]
Yo, what's going on, enemy?
[E] My name is Johnny.
I'm gonna take you around a couple spots in LA that have to do with things in my career, things that I've done, [C#] songs that I've made.
Really excited about it.
Let's get into it.
Follow me into Gold Diggins.
From the street, looks really unassuming, two black doors, but it looks like it would lead [A] to nothing.
But it leads to a recording studio right here in Los Angeles, [G#m] baby.
Turn the camera around and look at that Hollywood sign.
Big things.
This is where movies are made.
This is where dreams are [F#] made.
[G] Hey man, [E] how are you doing?
Dude, those sessions we did were like the most fun sessions I've done here so far.
[F] You hear that?
Did you get that?
Thanks for having us.
Yes, first time in LA, right?
First time in LA, oh my god.
Feel free to take a little step in.
Beautiful.
Right now, we're at Gold Digger Sound, and this is where I made Wide Eyed, which is a special space.
I thought it would be cool to bring you here for your first time here in LA.
It's a nice studio.
I feel like it's a nice inviting [G] space.
[C] The song that came out now is not at [N] all what was written the day that we were in here.
Different structure, different chorus, different parts.
It gave us the bones for a really good song, and eventually kept digging, and there was a whole dinosaur in there out of those bones.
Come on in.
Step into the temporary office right now.
The room that we were just in.
This is where all of that feeds into, right?
If we're tracking drums in there, piano, or whatever, it's all coming to this board, and going to this computer, or whatever DAW that we're using that day.
Whether it's Ableton for me, or if someone's in here using Logic, or Pro Tools.
This is where I spend a majority of my time.
You're going to a studio to make music all day.
It's the thing that I love to do, and all my friends like to do.
There's not really a wrong way to spend a day in here, I feel like.
You're just constantly inspired, and you have all this cool gear around.
I don't ever come into a studio with a song locked and loaded.
I always just shoot from the hip, and want to just write something and chase whatever gets me excited in the room that day.
This [E] one thing I'm so addicted to, I'm [C#] probably gonna like it.
A smile and a drop of wine.
[A#m] The venue that I'm playing at, my upcoming tour.
Never played here before, but I've always wanted to.
Come on, enemy.
Let's go.
[G]
Oh my god, that's a little weird.
Who's that ugly motherfucker right here?
Don't buy a ticket to go to his show.
It's terrible.
It's just crazy, because I never thought I'd play here.
I've always wanted to play here, I just never thought it would happen.
So it's pretty cool.
There's a couple staple points, like the El Rey, the Troubadour, and the [B] Roxy.
I just played the Roxy last, so this is kind of a step up from there.
Things like the Fonda, it's definitely one of the staple points here in Los Angeles.
Back when I played at the Moroccan Lounge, which we'll go to in a bit, which is like 200 people tops, maybe.
If you want to put me back in time there and tell me I play here one day, it felt so far out of my reach.
It's pretty [E] crazy to be here right now.
So we're on the [N] way to another shot location.
We just picked up our sweet green salads.
Very LA.
My friend here told me, first time in LA, never had In-N-Out.
So as a very LA thing to do, we're going to go get In-N-Out and eat it alongside our salads.
Come on, Enemy.
This is what Enemy does.
This is how records are made.
This is how [E] business goes.
[F#] [A]
We're [D] going to try In-N-Out for the first time.
Are you ready?
[A] Ready.
Let's do it.
Okay.
Take your first one.
Let me know.
You good?
That's good.
We're in America, dude.
We eat unhealthy [A#] here, brother.
Come on.
[G#] [G] [E] Right now, we're in Vista Hermosa Park.
Kind of in and near downtown LA.
And I live in downtown LA.
So I definitely think it's important sometimes to go see greenery anywhere you can.
Especially if you're like me and actually live downtown in the Arts District where there is no greenery.
There's still nooks and crannies of LA that I've never been to.
Still want to.
I had a weird couple months when I moved here.
I moved here and a lot of my music stuff took off a little more.
And I went on this big tour and I came home and the whole world closed down behind me.
So I was kind of forced to stay in my apartment for those first few months I lived in LA.
And then as the world started to open up again, I feel like I explored a good little bit of LA.
And there's still places in LA I need to explore.
It's like a [Bm] giant beautiful city.
[F#m] [A]
[E]
[N] So right now we're going to the Moroccan Lounge.
It was the first place I ever played in LA maybe three or four years ago.
And I haven't been back that many times since.
So it's going to be cool.
Talk about it and be out here.
This is it.
I remember this line was lined up down there around the corner.
And I was sneaking out this back door if you come here.
Because I was nervous.
It was my first headliner show ever.
And there's a door here and the line was lined up all the way around the corner.
[B] And I was like, did anyone come to my [A] show?
[F] So I peeked my head around this door right [G] here.
And [B] I popped out.
And there's just [A#] people everywhere all [N] here.
And they were all like, ah, they popped.
And I was like, oh my god.
That was the first time I had ever seen any fans in person ever in my life.
I know that this is one of the first stops for any artist on the come up
when they play in LA.
They normally play a variety of venues.
But one of them is the Moroccan Lounge.
I think it's like 200 capacity.
But there's a bar and a venue.
So really the venue part is only like 100 to 150 probably in that room.
And it's kind of crazy going to the El Rey where I'll be playing for this new tour.
And then coming back here to the Moroccan,
it's kind of mind blowing how different the sizes of these two venues are.
It's cool to physically be at both and see the growth and actually be [E] here.
It's insane.
[G#m] We're back on the [N] street where I shot Audios and my Wide Eyed music video.
Wide Eyed we had just shut down this block.
Audios we had shut down this block and maybe another six or seven blocks
in the surrounding [E] area because we had planned out a course with a stunt driver.
But essentially the idea was to do a one take crazy music video
with no gimmicks, no CGI, no camera cuts of me in a car
that's doing this insane loop thing with this drone operator.
Super successful, super hard, super fun.
And it's out in the world right now.
If you haven't seen it, you can check it out.
Johnny Audios on YouTube.
And on that same street since these last few music videos I've been doing
have been going into each other one after another.
When the car crashes at the end of Audios,
we shut down the street again to film the Wide Eyed music video
which is another one take of a continuation of what happens
after the car crashes in Audios.
So yeah, we're always trying to push the bar and do crazy weird things.
Alright Enemy, my name has been Johnny.
Thanks for coming across the pond and hanging out with me,
going through some of my history and having a good chat.
Hope we can do it again [F#m] soon.
Coming out there for a show [A] sometime in the near future.
God bless.
Thank you.
I'm out.
I'm done.
I'm [F#m] done.
No [E] more Enemy.
I'm done.
I said I'm done Enemy.
No more.
[F#] [A]

If we're tracking drums in there, piano, or whatever, it's all coming to this board, and going to this computer, or whatever DAW that we're using that day.
Whether it's Ableton for me, or if someone's in here using Logic, or Pro Tools.
This is where I spend a majority of my time.
You're going to a studio to make music all day.
It's the thing that I love to do, and all my friends like to do.
There's not really a wrong way to spend a day in here, I feel like.
You're just constantly inspired, and you have all this cool gear around.
I don't ever come into a studio with a song locked and loaded.
I always just _ shoot from the hip, and _ want to just write something and chase whatever gets me excited in the room that day.
This [E] one thing I'm so addicted to, I'm [C#] probably gonna like it.
A smile and a drop of wine.
[A#m] _ The venue that I'm playing at, my upcoming tour.
_ Never played here before, but I've always wanted to.
Come on, enemy.
Let's go.
_ [G] _
Oh my god, that's a little weird.
Who's that ugly motherfucker right here?
_ _ Don't buy a ticket to go to his show.
It's terrible.
_ It's just crazy, because I never thought I'd play here.
_ I've always wanted to play here, I just never thought it would happen.
So it's pretty cool.
There's a couple staple points, like the El Rey, the Troubadour, and the [B] Roxy.
I just played the Roxy last, so this is kind of a step up from there. _ _ _
Things like the Fonda, it's definitely one of the staple points here in Los Angeles.
Back when I played at the Moroccan Lounge, which we'll go to in a bit, which is like 200 people _ tops, maybe.
If you want to put me back in time there and tell me I play here one day, it felt so _ far out of my reach.
It's pretty [E] crazy to be here right now. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ So we're on the [N] way to another shot location.
_ _ _ _ _ [F#] _ [A] _
_ We're [D] _ going to try In-N-Out for the first time.
Are you ready?
[A] Ready.
Let's do it.
Okay.
Take your first one.
Let me know. _ _ _
_ _ _ _ You good? _ _
_ That's good.
We're in America, dude.
We eat unhealthy [A#] here, brother.
Come on. _ _ _
[G#] _ [G] _ _ [E] _ _ Right now, we're in Vista Hermosa Park.
_ Kind of in and near downtown LA.
And I live in downtown LA.
So I _ definitely think it's important sometimes to go see greenery anywhere you can.
Especially if you're like me and actually live downtown in the Arts District where there is no greenery.
There's still _ nooks and crannies of LA that I've never been to.
Still want to.
_ I had a weird _ couple months when I moved here.
_ _ And there's still places in LA I need to explore.
It's like a [Bm] giant beautiful city. _ _ _ _ _
_ [F#m] _ _ _ _ _ _ [A] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
[N] So right now we're going to the Moroccan Lounge.
It was the first place I ever played in LA maybe three or four years ago.
And I haven't been back that many times since.
So it's going to be cool.
Talk about it and be out here.
This is it.
_ I remember this line was lined up down there around the corner.
And I was sneaking out this back door if you come here.
_ Because I was nervous.
It was my first headliner show ever. _ _
And there's a door here and the line was lined up all the way around the corner.
[B] _ And I was like, did anyone come to my [A] show?
[F] So I peeked my head around this door right [G] here.
And [B] I popped out.
And there's just [A#] people everywhere all [N] here.
And they were all like, ah, they popped.
And I was like, oh my god.
That was the first time I had ever seen any fans in person ever in my life.
I know that this is one _ _ _ _ of the first stops for any artist on the come up
when they play in LA.
They normally play a variety of venues.
But one of them is the Moroccan Lounge.
I think it's like 200 capacity.
_ But there's a bar and a venue.
So really the venue part is only like 100 to 150 probably in that room.
And it's kind of crazy going to the El Rey where I'll be playing for this new tour.
And then coming back here to the Moroccan,
it's kind of mind blowing how different the sizes of these two venues are.
_ It's cool to physically be at both and see the growth and actually be [E] here.
It's insane. _
_ _ [G#m] _ We're back on the [N] street where I shot Audios and my Wide Eyed music video. _
_ Wide Eyed we had just shut down this block.
So yeah, we're always trying to push the bar and do _ crazy weird things.
I'm done.
_ I said I'm done Enemy.
No more. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [F#] _ [A] _ _ _ _ _
_ [G#m] _ [F#m] _ [A] _ _ _ _ [F#m] _
_ _ [E] _ _ _ _ _ _
