Howdy guys!
I'm gonna do something a little bit different this time.
The band that I play with,
the Celts, is doing a St.
Patrick's Day show coming up and they asked me to put together a
set of tunes.
So in order to get some decent audio, I figured I may as well make a video with
it, just kind of have a little bit of fun.
So this is actually gonna be three tunes.
It starts off
with an air tune called Hector MacDonald, the Hero, which I think I've recorded before in a
different key, different setting of it.
So I'm gonna play it kind of a bit more slowly, a bit
more like an air rather than like a waltz, which it can be played sometimes.
And then following
that up with a reel called Castle Kelly, good standard reel, and then one called The Mountaintop,
also another good standard tune.
So I'm just gonna play all three of these kind of straight
through because I need to get the audio for it and I just thought it'd be fun to do a video about it.
So again, a little bit different.
I'm not going to break them down in this video, but they're
common enough tunes that you should be able to find the music for them and be able to learn them.
So
here's what I'm going to do with them anyway.
We'll see what we can do.

that kind of stuff.
But for now, hopefully that'll be a fun set we can play on stage one of these
