[Dm]
[Am] It's a [F] natural thing that happens, us coming together as [Dm] a band.
[Am]
[F] [Dm]
[Am] [F] [Dm]
[Am]
[G] [F] [Dm]
[Am] [N] I'm Toto.
I'm Patrick.
I'm Jules.
I'm Louis.
I'm Noah.
[A] We are presented [G] as parcels.
We've [A] all been musicians since little children.
But yeah, we met at high [F] school and we jammed in lunch.
[N] [Ab]
[C] We lived together [Bb] when we first moved to [N] Berlin, all in very small flats sharing beds.
At the same time as growing a great love for one another.
[E] No, we spent every day together, so we [Dbm] eventually thought maybe it was a [Abm] better option not to live together.
[Gb]
[E] Do we still love each other?
[Db] Yes.
[Dbm] [Gb] I would say we all love each other.
[E] Very much.
[N]
[B] [D]
[F] We have a rehearsal room [Db] in [E] a disgusting mechanical area of Berlin.
[G] [E]
[D] [Gbm]
Sometimes we're just singing [Em] softly and all the mechanics come [Bb] outside of their studios and just like lie in the streets looking up, [C] listening, taking a break [N] from their hard working day.
Ready boys?
It's a beautiful symbiosis.
[B]
[E] [D]
[A] [E]
[D]
[A] [E] I think triangle sounds really [B] good.
It's one of those instruments that [A] in a mix you don't notice, [B] but it's there.
It's just that high end that kind of gives [Bm] energy.
We all have our roles, I [A] think.
Like we all write music and then we all kind of [B] come together and do it as a group most [Gbm] of the time.
Roles kind of [G] happen very naturally.
I feel like [Eb] our roles are less to do [G] with music and more to do with [Gbm] just like keeping balance within the group.
[D] Toto's there when we're all [G] too serious about things.
Toto just keeps everybody happy and everything [Cm] alive.
[C] Louis [Cm] keeps a good technical [F] head on [Gm] everything.
[Cm]
[Bb] Jules is there to [C] shake things up every now and then when we feel like we're [G] getting into a pattern.
[Cm]
[C] [Ab] [F] You [C] know, when we start with [G] something, Patrick is there to make sure that [C] if we're trying to keep up a kind of rhythm, [Bb] that [Dm] everything happens exactly the [Cm] same as we started.
[C] [G]
[Ab] Noah brings a fire and passion to [Fm] the group.
[Ab] Noah keeps things youthful and exciting [Fm] at times.
[Ab] Noah plays the bass very [Fm] well.
[Ab] We take a lot of care with the image and we have a lot of fun [G] exploring different sides of the image.
[Dm]
[C] [G] At the moment, especially when we're talking about film clips, [Dm] we want to explore different [Am] mediums and different images with it.
[Cm] Especially where we're from, Byron Bay, the stereotypes are [Fm] very often true.
But [Gm] we don't connect so much with that.
[Cm] We live in Berlin, we're not [Eb] these sunny surfer [Ab] boys that we often get [Fm] portrayed as.
I [Bb] would be the first [Gm] in line to [Eb] open up so I [Fm] don't mind a turn if [Bb] you are.
We could have [Abm] moved anywhere, but we chose Berlin.
[E] Berlin's different from Australia in some ways in that it's [Dbm] cold and there's no surf and no [Abm] beach.
[E] It's small, community [Dbm]-minded townships.
[Abm] It doesn't feel like a big city, in that way it's quite similar to [E] Australia.
It's [Dbm] not very often that we come back to Berlin.
[Abm] When we do, I usually just get home and I get a bit down because we're always on the road.
I feel like when you come home it's a bit of [Eb] an [Ab] anticlimactic solitude.
It's similar to coming home from the club in that the [B] music stops [Gb] and you're [Ab] with your own thoughts.
[Abm] [Ab] [B]
