We don't like to add all around here, so Lauren what a beautiful song tell us the inspiration because you wrote you wrote it right Yes, yes
well during the pandemic I had some family members pass away and
I was kind of just moving through the motions of
Grief grieving that and so I wrote this song called I hear voice about
You know the people that I've lost that I love and I hope that it helps some other people get through a heartbreak and loss
It's such a beautiful beautiful song tell us the backstory that I gotta know a little bit more about the greatest showman
Yeah, and that song because that song is so beautiful
_ _ What happened?
I mean did you audition for the role or no you never auditioned for the role?
No, actually I was doing some demo work
Which means you know a songwriter will write a song and then they hire a singer to sing it
But only to kind of show how someone else to sing how to sing exactly so
I was just hired for the greatest showman to sing the female reference vocals
And then when they were almost done filming the movie my friends Pasak and Paul who wrote the songs they they asked me
If they could use my voice in the film and so that was a big moment for me
So the woman who played the role I mean she's always talked about you.
She's never yeah
I mean she said right from the beginning that that it was not her voice.
Yeah, it was never a secret.
I just think
It wasn't it didn't really get a lot of press it didn't get a little exactly
So that's why I went on Britain's Got Talent.
I just knew I needed to tell my story on a big platform and here
I am well.
We're so happy to have you you live in Brooklyn.

How's that working out for you?
I love it
I've been in New York for about 13 years and Brooklyn is home, and I love it.
Oh, that's great
And the new albums out now yes, my holy pee is released
It has a song called you say that I sang on Britain's Got Talent
And another song that I sang in the finals of that show and the song that I sang today
So I hope everyone loves it.
