Today [Am] your wish is granted as we are gonna check out the cheapest [G] bass on
Amazon I actually ordered this I think [Am] I think it was like two or three weeks ago
I actually totally forgot about [G] it.
[D] Totally honest.
I bought it [G] off of Amazon [C] and I
Totally forgot about it [D] and it arrived yesterday.
I was like, what is this?
I didn't even remember
[Am] Until I looked at my Amazon [A] order history trying to figure out what it was and then I [G] realized it was the cheapest bass on
[D] Amazon so without further ado

Yoshio bass from Amazon and it cost me
[G] $71 now the body is [C] basswood and
[Em] the neck is maple and the fretboard [Bm] is rosewood and
Pretty [Am] light.
It's actually really light.
The the neck is [G] definitely heavier than the body
It definitely wants to tilt a little bit, but we should we should tune this up and plug it in see how she [Em] sounds
[E] All right, so I got her plugged in I got [Am] her tuned [G] up and I have to say right off the bat.
The neck is
[Am] Massive no wonder it weighs so much.
The neck is
Very [D] very thick
[G] It's a it's [Am] a thick boy
But let's see
[G] how she sounds
[Am] It's very very low output and just right now I am seeing
[G] The [D] pickup is pushed into the [G] body and the screw is kind of [C] sticking out like it's stuck on something
[Bm] _ _

[G] I'm having to add about 28 DB to [C] the input of this bass to get it to really do much [Bm] with
The interface I am plugged [Am] directly into my universal audio Apollo interface and I'm using a Galen Kruger
bass amp [G] sim on the input and I'm having to add
[Am] 27 DB of input just to hit and register on my [D] DAW that gives you an idea of [G] how low output these pickups are
[Am] Not too shocking, but I thought it was [Ab] definitely worth mentioning

I'm [G] kind of impressed.

[E] Really really high and the saddles [Am] are almost all the [G] way down as it is
So I would tend to think that this needs [Am] a neck shim to kind of tilt the neck so you can get the the action
[G] Where you need it to
Overall for 70 bucks [A] though
[C] Honestly, if I started out on this thing, I would be [G] probably pretty stoked [G] now taking this to a guitar shop and [Am] just getting a
Basic setup would do this bass [Ab] wonders as well

[C] Acetate or paint thinner [Em] or something like that.
It's really [Gbm] it smells really bad

[Am] $71
