Hello guys, this is Amosdollmusic and in today's lesson I'm gonna teach you how to play the Avengers theme
Okay, [Gm] so give you a preview of what you're gonna learn.
It's pretty simple stuff
But it's really fun to play if you like this theme.
Okay, so it goes like this
[Eb]
[C] [Eb]
[F] [Gm] [Eb]
[C] Yeah, and then you should repeat it.
Okay, you can make like all these added stuff later on
I'll tell you the end of lesson you can be [Gm] like
I'm gonna play it again
[Eb] [C]
[Eb] [F] [Gm]
[Eb] [C]
[D] [G]
Okay, but anyway, let's get right into it
So let's learn the melody and chords because that forms the basis for everything you can make up your version at the end
I'll tell you what you can do at the end, but let's get right into it.
So let's split it up into two parts
Okay, so the first part goes like this right and starts on the G here
So pick a G doesn't really matter for now for this lesson just middle C's here for reference
Just start on the G up here.
Okay, so it goes G
G G up to [Db] D C
[C]
[Ebm] B [A] flat a and that is the right hand for this first part.
[Em] Okay, so one more time for this first part
So it goes like this G [Gm] G
[D] B [Cm] [Bbm] [A] flat a and that is the right hand for the [Gm] first part
Okay, so once you get that left hand, we have five chords here for the first part
The five chords are okay G minus the first chord, which is G B flat D
Second chord is E [Eb] flat major which is E flat G B flat
Third chord is C [C] major which is C E G and
Then fourth chord passes to [Eb] E flat major which is E flat G B flat you know
And then the fifth chord is F [F] major which is F A C
Okay, [Db] so with these five [Gm] chords in mind so G minor
[Eb] E flat major
[C] [Eb] C major
[F] Okay, so with that minor two and together goes like this the G and the G minor [Gm] together
two three four E flat [Eb] major by itself right comes in
[Gm] C [C] and C major together
For B flat E [Eb] flat major together
[F] Just like that, okay, and that is the first [Gm] part one more time for this first part says play like this together two three [Eb] four
[C] Four together two three four [Eb] together two
[F] Four like that, okay, so yeah, that's that for the first part [Db] Okay
Once you get that let's move on to your second part the second part is actually easier than the first [G] part less notes and less
Chords and everything okay, so it goes G
G G up to [Em] D E
That's it for the right hand one more time so goes like this goes [G]
G
G G up to [E] D E
And that's the [A] right hand for this second part.
Okay, once you [Gm] get that left hand
We have three chords here a three chords are okay G minor which is G B flat D
Once again second chord is E [Eb] flat major which you know E flat G B flat and the third chord
You know as [C] well C major C E G
So essentially these are the only three chords and yeah
These three chords are actually the first three chords in the five chords of the [Db] first part as well
Okay, so it's quite simple [Abm] stuff since you know [Gm] what okay?
So G minor [C] E flat major C major with that in mind the two hands together goes like [Gm] this G and G minor together
two three four E flat major [Eb] by itself right comes in
E and C [C] major together two three four and hold it like that.
That's it
[G] One more [Gm] time for the second part so it goes together two three [Eb] four
Four [C]
that's it yeah, so back to back the two parts will just be play like this [Gm] check it out
[Eb] Yes, [C]
[Eb] [F]
[Gm] [Eb]
[C]
and that is that okay, so yeah
Basically after you get that you can repeat [F] it until you get it really smooth in terms of like all the [A] rhythm and all the
Notes and everything very clear and articulate then once you get that then you can start applying some like improvisational
Patterns decorations and stuff to make it more interesting and bigger and grand okay like some sometimes like how it sound like as well
Okay, so you can be [Gm] like
Add a rhythmic pattern to the course
[Eb] Yeah,
[C] [Eb]
[F] [Gm] [Eb]
[C] even that it already makes it a bit more interesting
Okay, you can add an extra stuff you can add like right hand you can make it as octaves more bigger and the left hand with
more bass notes and arpeggios [Gm] and
Yeah, [Eb] [C]
[Eb] [F] [Gm]
[Eb] [C]
I'm [Gm] like that okay,
[Eb] [C]
[Eb] [F] [Gm]
[Eb] [C]
[Gm]
this is made up on the spot, but it's still based on [G] everything I taught
That's why it's so important to learn the melody and chords of songs because everything else after that is once you get the melody and
Chords good, then you can add all this extra stuff that you're capable of okay
Obviously you still have to learn it as well because if you don't know about those patterns and decoration stuff

Four [C]
that's it yeah, so back to back the two parts will just be play like this [Gm] check it out

[Eb] [F]
