We're gonna be working on just [Cm] the intro today, which is just gonna be our right hand.

[Bm] _ _ Sinner Man is one of the Nina Simone tunes that is actually up on my favorite of
_ all time piano pieces.
I think the ending is so amazing.

Middle C again.
We have our thumb on B, third finger on D, and fifth finger on F sharp.
_ [A] _ _ _ We're gonna go down to basically an A chord. _ _
_ [Bm] _ _ So this whole song, although it's a little complicated and it's a little fast, _
it's really just in B minor _ and [A] we see a lot of A majors in the whole piece.
_ _ _ [Bm] [A] So _ _ you'll [Bm] see
[A] _ _ [Bm] _ [A] this [Bm] movement a lot
[A] _ including when we get to the verse [Bm] [A] and all [Bm] the other sections.

_ _ And we're just gonna do it as fast as we can, play it as light as we can, and just kind of think of it
as a swoop _ _ to that chord. _

[Bm] _ [A] _ [Bm] _ _ [A] _ _ [E] So if you were to look at sheet music of this note, you would actually notice that it's like [Bm] a little tiny miniature note.
So these notes are [F#m] all the same [Bm] size.

[Bm] But then this little note is super super small.
And what that means when you're reading [A] music is [Bm] just

don't treat it as the same weight as the rest of the song, [A] _ [Bm] as the [C#m] rest of the [Bm] notes. _
